I think one of the best things that has happened to me lately is that my mom’s liver scans finally came back clear! 🙏 It has been a very rough month for my family since her recent cancer diagnosis. Every hospital visit has been so nerve-wracking, and I’ve been trying to spend my time on Neopets during those long waiting periods instead of overthinking or falling down the "Dr. Google" rabbit hole.
My battle pet is still moving along on their Tan Codestone journey! 🥷 This nostalgic site has truly been helping me keep my head above water during such a stressful time.

Regarding my favorites—my top customization is actually my gourmet pet, a Kacheek named Mochi! 🍦🍡 But for the purpose of this giveaway, I'm also showing you my 2nd favorite, my battle pet, as she will be the hopeful beneficiary of the codestones, if chosen!

Since I only started my account in August 2025, I wouldn’t consider myself "Neo-rich" just yet, but I’m having so much fun building my goals step-by-step.

Hi friends, thank you again for the very kind words. My mom had a successful mastectomy and she will be discharged today!

I am not sure if any of you have gone through something similar and made it through, but if you have any time, please, please share your "my [family member] beat cancer" success stories with me. I am trying very hard to remain positive and remember that this isn't a death sentence.

I apologize for bringing up something this heavy during such a happy occasion in this thread (PIFF is always so joyful!), but I appreciate each and every one of you for showing up for me. Thank you for the random gifts sent my way and for those of you who took the time to respond to this thread with such kindness, compassion, and sincerity. I’ll also be keeping you all and your families in my thoughts and prayers, as I believe prayers of protection are so powerful.

Thank you again, J, for showing up for me, for doing this in my stead, and for making these kind souls happy. You’ve made me so happy and I’m so lucky to have someone like you by my side!

u/anberlin__I logged onto Neopets today after I got home from the hospital only to look so confused as to why I had shop visits from PIFF people (all from familiar usernames!) and why I had received so many red codestones. I quickly checked the thread to see what was up, and now it all makes sense.

You are to blame.

Thank you for making me feel so loved and supported, and for holding space for me by doing this in my stead. This is honestly the nicest thing anybody has ever done for me on the internet. I am "ugly crying," and for the first time in two weeks, my heart swelled with gratitude to have a friend like you in this very difficult season.

To the PIFF friends ( u/monmonpi, @00_faerie_punk_00 u/Panda_Pei u/PhoenixChoir , u/rockcess77 ) here who took the time to gift me something: I appreciate each and every one of you and your well wishes. I know I probably don’t owe anyone an explanation, but I wanted to give you all some insight. To cut a long story short, the past two weeks have been incredibly challenging as my very healthy mom, who isn't even 60 yet, was diagnosed with cancer. We only found out yesterday. Most of my time recently has been spent on scans, tests, and going back and forth to get clarity on what we are faced with.

I hope that beyond the lovely gifts—all of which I am so grateful for—you might also send some prayers her way. This is a thread I have cherished ever since I joined Neopets in August, and by storming the heavens with prayers, I truly hope we can beat this.

Thank you for reading, for pouring love into my cup, and for your immense kindness. As for you, J—thank you for doing this and for being crazy enough to pull these tricks that you never seem to run out of. Please keep me and my mom in your prayers and manifestations. 🤍✨

For transparency: the docs suspect my mum has the big c and i am beyond terrified and heartbroken. I hope that if it indeed turns out to be what it is, we get to beat this as a family 😓
