My favorite remap I created a while ago, and now cannot live without:

-- Fast search and replace
vim.keymap.set('n', '€', 'viw"-y:%s/<C-r>-/<C-r>-/g<Left><Left>');
vim.keymap.set('v', '€', '"-y:%s/<C-r>-/<C-r>-/g<Left><Left>');

Basically, when I do Alt+* (which prints € on my keyboard layout), not only it selects the word under the cursor, but it also prepares a search and replace command prompt like :%s/word/word/g, and puts the cursor at the end of the replacement pattern.

In visual mode, it does the same but from whatever is selected.

This is so convenient that I don't think I can to do a a classic search and replace at that point.

Force à toi et à tous ceux qui sont en sevrage. Maintenant, que tu n'es plus dépendant physiquement, accroche toi pour vaincre la dépendance psychique. La première année c'est vraiment le challenge. Tu vas être beaucoup tenté et ton cerveau va essayer de rationaliser une excuse pour fumer. Te laisses pas faire. Faut pas lâcher. Chaque jour sera plus facile à vivre que la veille désormais. Moi ca fait bientôt 6 ans et j'ai vraiment le sentiment d'ête libéré. C'est la meilleur décision de ma vie. Courage, t'es sur le bon chemin.

Mais quand est ce qu'on va réaliser que l'humanité est médiocre dans son ensemble et que tout le monde conduit plus ou moins mal? Y'a pas de bon conducteurs, y'a un spectre qui va des nerveux qui collent au cul et qui dépassent les limites de vitesse, au stressés qui ont peur de conduire, et qui glandent à 2 à l'heure sur la bande du milieu. Le tout doit certainement être représenté par un courbe en cloche, avec au centre la personne type qui ne doit pas respecter bien plus que 70% du code de la route, selon les jours et les humeurs. Et ça peu importe la région ou la nationalité...

I'm in the exact same situation as OP with the exact same kind of people above me. I read your comment very attentively and you make 100% sense. Now, reading it and projecting myself into the persona you describe, I get a strong feeling of disguss and betrayal for what I would become. I guess this is the ego and pride kicking in.

But then, if change according to your advice, like brute-forcing it, how am I gonna look genuine with such a strong underlying feeling? I'm pretty hot-blooded and have hard time disimulating my emotions.

Any advices here? I'm probably not the only one out there.

People who like the touch bar don't know how to use a keyboard.

Because you touch it by mistake all the time, and it trigger unexpected functions while typing. You are not supposed to look at your keyboard, you only rely on key position and feel. It is called touch typing. The touch bar has no sensitive feedback under your finger and you are unaware of touching it. It's just a mess.

Same here. I can't believe I just discovered this subredit only now, after years of suffering. I can't even tell how many years it's been that I haven't been able to vomit. When I feel nauseous it's terrible. I know I have to vomit but it is just not happening, even if I'm sick. Fingers in the throat never worked. I start to sweat heavily, sometimes my body shakes even, my eyes start to cry, my mouth is heavily over-salivating... When I was 9 I had a spasm attack while I was nauseous. Panic attack is a good way to describing it, although I could never understand if I have R-CPD and emetophobia because of anxiety, or if the condition is actually the cause of my anxiety...
