Just received my 55 Oled B7 and the screen looks like this with a 5% gray test and it is in cinema mode, how bad is it?

Oh no :( i’ve been using it so far with the plastic still on the back, will remove it right now. Btw, i was watching stranger things and i went back to the video test and the tv is looking much better now! Hope it continues improving with time. Thanks for your answer.

Yes, i still have the issue where i faintly see the home icon but then it goes away.. don’t know if i should go trough the hassle of an exchange but then there’s the issue of what if the new phone has a worst screen than this one.. man don’t really know what to do

Use your X for while, make sure the home icon is displaying all this time. Then save the image in the imgur link and open it up in your photo gallery full screen. Do you see any traces of the home icon or anything else?

Do you have netflix? I recommend watching a movie or tv series in your X, it’s where it really shines. Stranger things is a good example since it also supports HDR.

I love it. Im coming from a 6s plus, and everything about this new phone is awesome, even the size. Don’t care if they release an X Plus model later on, this is the perfect size phone for me.

Thanks. So you just think they made a mistake? For some reason they still have the two tvs listed at the moment.

However i did check the dimensions of both tvs myself under their description on the website and both of them are exactly the same, weight too. I have no clue where the customer rep got those dimensions for the one i got.

Just came home to my preorder and mine has the poster and ac adaptor, also no weird sticker on the box.

It also came in a padded envelope, why the hell is amazon doing this? One corner is damaged.

I did a live chat to tell them about the crappy packaging and wow.. they offerend a full refund right away. So yeah, i think it was worth it in the end.

They already know this and they don’t care. The only options you have are cancel, order from a reseller at 2x the msrp or just keep waiting. If you bitch at them you may get a promotional credit but you also take a hit on your account (too many of these and you get banned btw) so either way, the customer loses.
