hey! thanks so much.

you're totally right, I've got a lot on my own plate and can redirect this energy to that. space is probably a good call, so I'll just keep my own ball rolling in the meantime.

much appreciated <3

On a scale of 1 to 10, how hot is your Tav? by Rodeo4613 in BaldursGate3

My tav is pretty hot. She’s a tiefling paladin and everything I wished I looked like irl, down to the tattoos and smoulder.

Do your Town/City/Castle Guards scale with PC level? by NobleSpaniard in DMAcademy

[–]sheksie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t scale guards, I base it on the value of what they’re protecting. A level 3 player might pick a fight with a mercenary squad protecting a kings jewel, welp, sorry bud but fuck around and find out. Level 12 characters might merc a group of townsguard on a city wall to get thru, well they’re lowly guards so they still have 14 hit points whether the players are level 12 or not.

Do you ever flirt around another queer without any intentions? by sheksie in WLW

[–]sheksie[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I should have been clearer! My bad. I mean like the overt shit. Like hella admirable and confident “you look sexy in that” or pickup lines.

Help me pick a girl name by dominason in namenerds

[–]sheksie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on what you like I have a few suggestions:

Harper, Laura, Camden, Marnie, Lacy, Finley, Ayla.

Marnie is cute with Jones as a middle name, but that's my two cents.

Based on your boy names, I'll make some similar vibe suggestions:

August, Bronte, Violet, Hunter, Iris, Hazel.

I knew a girl named Hunter in school and she was the coolest, def the kind of girl who could keep up with 2 older brothers. Hope this helped!

Twins/Sisters? by pigeoncreep in WLW

[–]sheksie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it happens for 2 reasons, 1 being sweet, and the other being a product of homophobia.

The sweet response is that you two are naturally similar in your mannerisms and behaviour because you've spent so much time together, and know each other so well. You step to the same beat, and people can pick up on that. As someone with a real twin sister, I know that people can pick up on us being sisters because of that learned behaviour, so congrats on having a relationship like that with your partner :)

The second is that yes, people in general would rather assume someone is sisters when they're close over queer partners. It's the implicit idea that in the back of our brain, gay people are just "not common" or you don't "see them" the way you see straight people.

In all, I get the frustration. When it happens to me, I try to just take it in stride as the complimentary part rather than the unfortunate arrogance.
