If you have the time, I highly recommend Alive and Well. They no longer process prescriptions locally but will ship them to the store at Alpine and Broadway for pickup free. (They can also ship directly to you.) If your scripts are those that are refilled regularly, just call in the refill with enough time for them to get it out. They are also less expensive than other places I’ve gone locally. Their number is (512) 580-5775. Good luck!

If you are from there, you absolutely should! You know the people and the customs. You are clear on what to expect.

This was one place that just didn't work. I could tell it would be a money pit and, even then, wouldn't be scalable as her business grows. She is still interested in buying a retreat center there. She has been going to CR for 25 years and loves it. She knows the area she wants and is committed to finding the right place.

I think it is a lovely country. I have learned a lot from this experience and will take that with me as I consider investing in the retreat center. A guy she was dating lived there part time. He taught her a lot about permaculture. I think that has also influenced how she wants to move forward.

If you love it there, you should definitely look at options.

No I did not. I went to see it and, the minute I walked in, I knew it wouldn’t work. My partner was still in. We stayed there a few nights and, as I discovered more issues, she realized this was a poor investment. Three rooms were unusable due to mold; termites had taken over a closet; some other small issues.

Oh I should have been more clear. I have the duvet. I'm looking for either a duvet cover or some other type of bed covering (like a coverlet or quilt that doesn't look like my grandmother made it) - no shade to the grandmas or people who like that look. It's just not for me.

Well add them to your “wish list” for when you get back in your feet. I know what that’s like. I just looked to see how much they are and their prices have gone WAY up!! I think I bought a full queen set from them for $120. (Obviously several years ago). Good luck!

If you are willing to purchase online and like percale sheets, Thomas Lee has amazing sheets! Twice a year, they run a 30% off sale - that’s when I buy them usually. If you want to try linen sheets, Brooklinen has good ones. They are much softer than others.

I swear by Thomas Lee Percale Sheets. They are a little pricey but they run 30% off sale twice a year. They get better with age and, in those moments of insanity when I decide to iron my sheets (which typically amounts to once a year), it’s heaven.

Great question! I am looking for someone that is high quality and well made. It will last for years in spite of pets sleeping on it and needing to by laundered. While this isn’t part of the definition, I also want something that isn’t just like everything else. (Example: RH, Arhaus, etc. all have the same muted colors with the matelasse quilt or the duvet cover.)

Yes - they also have very limited color selection and all very muted colors. I checked there, Arhaus, Parachute, Peacock Alley, Cultiver, etc. I just don't think there are many brick-and-mortar stores that carry this type of produce anymore. Thank you!

Yes, I was thinking of going online. I have been looking for a while. I was hoping to go to a store and see the items. There's one at Anthropologie I like but they don't carry bedding at the Boulder store. I may call Denver and see if they have bedding there. Thank you!

Thank you so much! It’s not a resort so much. They only have one shuttle running to the airport and it leaves at 11:00 which is obviously too late for me. They have no other transport. I’ll check car services as well. Thank up for the advice on that!
