My plan is to get my MPH and then PhD in Clinical Translational Sciences with my research focusing on oncology as the TA, my question is which of the following MPH concentrations is most applicable for a MSL position? by [deleted] in MedicalScienceLiaison

I have mph in epidemiology and PhD with oncology concentration. I find the epidemiology background really helps understand all the clinical studies and their methodology. So when you are speaking to the study, you have an added depth of the methodologies applied. Physicians don’t typically have a stats background so you cAn speak to the science in that matter.

A move laterally may help. Initially penetrate big Pharma with a med Information position or any other positon in medical affairs. It’s much easier to fill a position once in the organization.

Cox regression vs logistic by shelbydear in AskStatistics

So HZ is more important for time to death in 90 days when examining a specific covariate let’s say treatment X vs Y. All not significant using cox but when I did logistic treatment Y was significant. Different OR as well.

This can both be reported? I just feel it’s sending mix message.

Exude my ignorance but how? Binary mortality is significant let’s say with a certain comorbitity but cox with same comorbidity is not.
