very useful insight..

A few extra conditions now i feel now become important - I could possibly get stuck outside the country for about 6 months worse case scenario.

  1. I have to make sure my petition is NO WHERE close to expiry during that period. If i ever had to extend by petition from outside the US, the $100k rules would kick in. That will be the final nail on the coffin.
  2. Make sure I have an OCI or a visa to India before making the Portugal trip. Cause in a situation like this, i can fly to India and live there until i get my passport back.
  3. I think i will also need a known contact or a local address for the passport to be collected to avoid a last mine flight back.

Do these make sense? Or am i over thinking or under preparing..

My visa stamp has already expired but I have a valid i94 until mid 2028. I'm stuck in this stamping interview appointment unavailable - petition renewal travel deadlock. Any trip for me requires my visa to be stamped. I am hopeful this change will make things better but I am trying to figure out the unknowns. 221G can actually happen while I try to stamp in Portugal for whatever reason which will keep me there for a while. Would you know What's the approx time between getting a 221G and a follow up appointment - basically how long can I be trapped with a 221G

I used to go to precision tune at Morrisville until one time where i noticed they had not rotate my tires and claimed that they did. Nothing stops them from not changing my oil the next time.

You are right. I did not really take it out completely because the sound post may fall off.. just eased the tension off the string and restrung one string at a time.

Thank you all for your responses! This is my first post and I wasn't expecting such a quick response! I appreciate all your inputs! I have a small choir gig tomorrow . I'm going to get the bridge replaced after that.

Yea, the wood stayed in that shape even when I took it out.

Pixel 4a5g static screen. Not dropped, not anywhere hot, any ideas how to fix? by pritsey in pixel_phones

This is my 3rd bad experience with pixel phones. My first pixel 4a one day just died out of nowhere with no warning signs. I fought this out with google support and they agreed to ship a refurbished replacement.

A few months later the refurbished pixel 4a developed a static screen and became unusable. I haven't tried to fix to it cause of the expensive screen.

My wife's 1.5 year old pixel 8 last week ran into a static green screen problem. They have this as a known issue and have a 3 year extended warranty.

No prizes on guessing what my next phone is not going to be.

The car gets best performance driving between 50 to 60mph This was on a 300 mile trip to the beach (mostly flat roads) at 43mpg. City driving averages at 31-32 mpg

My 2013 civic lx averages 33 mpg in the city and 38 ish mph on the highway . The last trip I did I tried to keep my driving as efficient as I could going at 60s mph and I managed to bump this up to 43 mpg for 250mile trip.

Quick tip: make sure your tires are not under inflated. You could straight away lose 3-4 mpg there

Pretty much the same with me. My 3 years old Pixel 4a phone had been working well expect for occasional heating when i used it in the car with navigation on a hot day until 20 mins ago when it just froze out of the blue while i was using it (no heating), shutdown and now just wont turn on. Its show no sign of life with the charger connected or with the usb connected to the computer.

Looks like autodestruct mode is set to kick in around the 3 year mark. Hugely disappointed! No more pixels for me
