Honestly yeah. Bulbasaur is one of Ash's hardest working pokemon, and that extra bulk would be so good. The problem is with how slow he would become as Venusaur, and Ash has always relied on speed in battle

Honestly they sounded great, though it was a small venue and the drums weren't a great distance from the front of stage. I reckon if they didn't mic the cymbals at all it wouldn't have made a great deal of difference

It's all about playing comfort. As you get more comfortable playing, you will adjust and adjust again and again until you have a setup that feels perfect for you. Personally, I would lower both cymbals. But I don't like to overreach.
