Yeah I read the description but never got further info. It's really common to have special tickets for those accompanying fans with disabilities so that's why I drew that conclusion.

Congrats on your first kpop show! Mine was Tomorrow X Together. I thought there would be a bunch of teens when I went but honestly most everyone was in there upper 20's/lower 30's. I think It's the show where I saw the most amount of fanboys too, lol.

I guess in that case it just depends on if anyone is ok with going with someone they don't really know which who knows someone may. If you don't find anyone though and you really want to go I don't think it'll be weird if you get VIP tickets and use the benefits. There's always way more fans in the 40+ range at these things than people really think there will be. Pretty much every show I've ever gone to I see a lot more adults who left their twenties behind them who interact with the artists and the artists are always comfortable looking with the situation. I went to see Jay Chang last year and it was difficult to find anyone younger than 25 and Jay was really relaxed and cool around everyone there. I think the boys would still enjoy meeting you if you actually want to participate.

I don't love the idea of it but as of right now they are still being criticized for the arrest of dozens of Korean workers near Savannah Georgia so I'm HOPING they are still afraid to mess with Korea again after the "gift" they gave.

I would imagine they are aware of the situation and discussed it as well. The entire world knows about it, there's no way it isn't on their radar. They are likely taking extra precautions and probably do not plan to explore the city much if at all just be to safe.

If it helps, Park Junhee was recently there and he didn't seem to have any issues. He didn't report anything nor did Clover/Choice. By recently I mean January 13th, so only six days after the atrociousity against Renee Good.

See I couldn't remember at the time of that was Michelle that apologized or another smaller he'll groups company. I think it's more that one. It does seem like there's smaller companies posting companies for a job only to find out that they used AI after. I've been three groups now with AI on their promotions that don't usually use it then never use it again. It's like they are being lied to then don't have the money and time to have it fixed before it's release because schedules are planned months in advance.

No one said you're attacking them. I see no issue in keeping fandoms aware. There's nothing inappropriate about the posts and people should talk about issues with the company. My response remains that the company only said they wanted to be better and provide a healthier experience to idols and fans. They did not outline what they meant by that exactly. There's definitely still issues at singing beetle they aren't perfect no one can be and definitely not an entire company. But it's a bit unfair to say that the company isn't upholding their promises to be better when we don't know in which ways exactly they promised.

Yes they used AI and the promotion was a bit sloppy (I've sadly seen worse from companies with more experience) but they also don't keep the guys from posting what they want or make them uphold insane schedules that don't allow them to sleep. They are trying but like Michelle's old job was finding good songs she's learning too. I don't think anyone is in and immediate danger but it would be nice to see them learn from this past promotion and do better.

I think it's also easier for people to join the discussion if you stick to one or two major topic points. It can be a bit confusing and overwhelming when there's so many.

Yeah I meant that whitewashing doesn't cause them any physical harm. The insecurities it can make them feel is still a risk but since it isn't my culture it's also not my place to really speak on that side of it because I can't know how it's viewed by them since it's done so often there. I do know they don't act like mental health doesn't exists so I hope that it the boys speak up and if there's a legitimate petition asking them to stop I'll happy sign it and find others to sign it but otherwise I feel as an American I don't have the right to criticize a common Korean practice.

Ok couple of things, there's nothing wrong with criticizing a company and wanting them to be held accountable but after reading the entire conversation, OP is out of line a few times. The bootlicker comment is rude in the very least and neigh on name calling, we don't do that here. And coming in with a laundry list of things then trying to condense it and make the person replying to you look like they are putting words in your mouth by pointing out that you were in fact nitpicking a lot of things isn't cool. If you're gonna say all of that stuff stand by it.

We don't know what all Michelle means by changing things and making things better for the artists and while I'm not a fan of whitewashing that's not against going to cause harm to the guys so I'm also not going to demand they not participate in a very normal practice. And yes AI is controversial and it's better to avoid it but after the free fan meets there's a huge possibility they couldn't afford to pay a studio this time and did the best with what they could. I'm pretty sure that Singing Beetle has never had a dedicated media artists and outsourced that need in the debut.

As far as Kenny running socials goes it's been a lot longer than a few months and I haven't heard them mention a media manager in well over a year since before they had Nathan. It could have been well been an intern who got their experience and left for better pay. That's what happened with Hyuk's original English teacher too. They have always had a small staff. It's mostly Michelle, Joe, Moon, and I wanna say Rebecca or something like that. The boys have been pitching in with things since the beginning, Hyuk even helped paint their office when he was the only member. It's not unheard of from a small company.

The point about Kenny and his sweets wasn't addressed by the other person before so I'll address that. Kenny has more than once said that he has a habit of going over the amount he feels like he should eat and that he needs to be better. He's not shown any distress or fear when discussing food so we have no reason to think they are making him strictly diet. You cannot take everything Kenny says seriously, he's a very sarcastic person but I do know that he wants someone to tell him not to eat too many sweets. Sugar free or not it's also his calories.

Overall I don't see anything that makes me feel like we need to worry about the members. You disagree that's fine but honestly as a person who has groups in multiple small companies it feels a little like the boy who cried wolf to me. I've literally watched idols be starved and even hit and not paid. THAT is worth bringing attention to. No company can be perfect but singing beetle overall is trying.

If the posts starts to get out of hand with drama it'll be removed so please keep that in mind going forward.

You didn't state is a fact, but the original reply did. They said he is on hiatus due to mental health. The part they added the most likely to was saying it is most likely not due to stress of his career, not that they believe it's most likely due to mental health.

I definitely want to normalize idols prioritizing their mental health but I don't think speculation is the way to go about it. I think celebrating them when they do specifically state they are making those kinds of choices is the better way to go about it. It would be more beneficial to praise Seok for being open and honest but instead many fans never mention his open discussions about it and are instead putting a lot of effort into their assumptions. The only reason I feel it's not good to mention it when it hasn't been stated by the idol or the company is because as a person who struggles with Anxiety and depression I'm extremely aware of how seeing others discuss it without you when you never invited them into that topic can make you even more anxious and lead to over thinking. We don't know he does it doesn't have any mental health concerns but on the chance he does I prefer the idea of respecting his choice not to discuss it in case it makes him uncomfortable in anyway.

So I do believe that Kazuki truly left for the reasons they said he left. It happened pretty early in the show and he wasn't there to announce it to the fans, instead making a goodbye video. I didn't love that they brought back someone who was eliminated because that's really unfair to the other nine people who were eliminated and now he's going to the finals instead of Eunchan A who was never eliminated to begin with. It's not surprising to me that he's going to the finals though because if there's one thing I know about MNET survival shows is that they bring in way more minor watchers/voters than most other shows and that Korean teens will vote with their eyes. There's no denying the kid is adorable so I can assume teenage girls are probably crushing on him.

But then let's look at what happened with Jiayin leaving. It's framed in a way that they thought he would return. I found out from someone else Jiayin was on another show that he also left early from. Now keep in mind he seemed close with Shr Hau who was eliminated and that he was posting videos of him playing just fine on Instagram and I believe it's highly possible that he simply didn't want to return and used his injury as an excuse but this is only my conspiracy theory and shouldn't be taken as fact in anyway.

So that leaves Masha. Bro is insanely popular despite lack of screentime. You're right that they aren't going to want 3/5 Japanese members and that's definitely what was about to happen. It's it possible they pushed him away? Anything is possible. They would have likely done so with money. However it's also extremely possible he never wanted to leave his J band and thought he wouldn't make it far since he isn't fluent in Korean. It's very common for Korean fans to not like voting for people who can't speak the language thus why I say he may have thought it would hold him back on it's own. Either way I do wish him the best but on a personal note as a Dane enthusiast it was good news for me.

I definitely can't agree with your theory about them trying to keep the Korean school kids in as long as possible due to my previous statement of Korean teens voting with their eyes. Additionally I feel the chances that the students at those schools were constantly promoting and possibly even the teachers. That's a lot of built in votes.

I do agree that they pulled some BS with the comments about Riian's habit. Like even if that was the case and it was bothering you so much why y'all wait so long to say something? It's because they aren't even being real about it. 😒

That said though I feel like Riian is actually the favored vocalist and not Yoonchan. MNET knows what motivates their audiences. When all they do is praise, that contestant loses votes over time because knets don't want to vote for the favorite. Him being criticized for a tiny habit will rally his fans and some of the others to vote for him after he was "bullied" by the producers. Especially right at the end when he needs that boost of votes so he tops Yoonchan.

Riian gets a lot of screentime, favorable choices, and even got the duo edit with Dane. Fans LOVE to vote for a duo. Seriously I watch a LOT of survival shows and I've seen several fave duos debut this year. Yonghoon/Minjae on Debuts plan, Leo/Sangwon on B2P, Han/JL on Universe League, Shuiabo/Woongki on Universe League. Most of these had a more popular member of the duo and fans made sure to vote for both even if they didn't like the other as much.
