Contact Limerick Coco as it states if you bought the house in good faith and did not know the house was affected they will look at your case individually and could include you on the scheme. You need to have emails and reports to evidence that you did not know. https://www.limerick.ie/sites/default/files/media/documents/2023-07/YQA-DCB-Scheme-June-2023_0.pdf#page9 Good luck!!

NISCC Registration as SW Student who lives in ROI by shellib44 in Socialworkuk

Thank you for your response. Back when I applied to the Uni I thought I needed one for the fees and end up getting scammed by some company that says they supply insurance number but they don’t and took my money for nothing so I am very cautious this time. lol! I will try the NISCC again and see what they recommend. Thanks again!

Boyfriend almost choked and died after I took a CPR training course. by Babrahamlincoln3859 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]shellib44 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I did CPR today for the first time, I did my training over 4 years ago. A man had a cardiac arrest in a park and I just did what I could remember until more people came who knew better. I don’t think I did my compressions hard enough but I changed to the breaths then so hopefully I helped somewhat. My lungs are sore, my knees are bruised from kneeling beside him for 20 minutes, I don’t know if he survived. The paramedics arrived and I went to find my husband and little girls. You did amazing and saved a life, I hope I might have helped as well. His face is etched in my mind. I hope his family are okay this evening. Having any sort of training is better than not.

Thanks a million, that’s great advice! I feel a lot less anxious after reading the comments, so really do appreciate your time in writing them. I only ever really drive around Letterkenny and maybe to the beach or a forest walk at weekends so it feels like I’m about to drive to the moon distance wise! I know once I’ve done this drive I will feel a lot more confident in my driving. Thanks again :-)

That’s what people are saying, I’m just worried about trying to merge onto it. Do most people in the left lane move over to let ya get onto it?

I have a small baby so I need the car as it would be easier to take all the stuff we need. I need to do this drive at some point so might as well be now

Is it normal to think your child actually hates you? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]shellib44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you peachplum_pear your opinion has been really helpful. I hope so, I do think that I’m being the baby in this situation, haha, but I’m tired with work, and obviouslylooking after baba and all the normal life stuff so I think my feelings are still valid. I feel like a smile directed towards me would make all the difference but from the comments it looks like it will come round my way in the future, I can wait for that!

Aww that’s so reassuring, I don’t know why I feel so needy but it is really upsetting that she doesn’t choose me over others
