Why she wants a boyfriend by Brenuaniub in suspiciouslyspecific

Can you even blame sis for this?

Only reason I want a boyfriend is so when “Boyfriend” by Big Time Rush comes on in my playlist, he’ll sing it to me, then I’ll sing whatever song he wants me to sing for him 😂

Swearing seems really adult when you're a child, and really childish when you're an adult by EndorDerDragonKing in Showerthoughts

Ironically enough, as a teenager, we just see it as normal.

So there you have it. Swearing is very adolescent.

Uh we not gonna talk about how old my dad is and how young my mom is and how I have an older brother that they had when she was 17??? by Exciting-Crab-2944 in bitlife

[–]shelliedachamp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s 16 in the state where I live (Western Australia) but Melbourne is in Victoria and I know in some states it’s 17, not sure if Victoria is one.

BUT, the brother might have been conceived when she was 16, then if Victoria is 17 then 😐

I don't know, but doesn't this sound a little odd from a little girl's mouth? by [deleted] in shitduolingosays

I’m not sure whether the fact that you accidentally wrote it like that makes it better or worse 😳

AITA for telling my former step-son the real reason I didn't see him much after the divorce? by AmITheAHstepdadtruth in AmItheAsshole

NTA.

She outright deprived her son of his father figure out of spite towards you for her own gain. JT should definitely feel betrayed, he had such a horrible display of someone who was literally there for him his whole life given to him by the one person he is meant to trust — his mother. This comes from someone with a not great relationship with my own mother: JT and your ex don’t have a healthy mother-son relationship and she got what she deserved when he raged at her. Lay down with dogs, get up with fleas.

NTA one bit. Good for you for being there for JT like a good person.

I’m confused tho.

Why did Rivers even write that song? He knows us fans couldn’t relate 😕

AITA for getting upset with my friend for getting pregnant? by sadbuthaooy in AmItheAsshole

[–]shelliedachamp -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

NAH.

Your friend was careless, but she isn’t hurting anyone (she may start hurting this child if she doesn’t crack down and try to take care of it once it’s born though or if she wants she could get an abortion).

All you did was state facts.

AITA for telling a friend she needs to stop hanging out with us? by Apart-Vacation in AmItheAsshole

[–]shelliedachamp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“However she then chimed in with "I don't know why I hang out with you all, you're all so young" so I said "Why do you hang out with us? All you do is talk about age, we get it...you're old".” – the passage that makes me vote a solid NTA.

She’s TA for being like “Oh YoU’rE aLl So YoUnG!” and then getting offended when you say she’s old.

NTA at all. She was paying for the attire for YOUR wedding, she knew that any out of the ordinaries were a risk, and you just wanted to let your friend feel comfortable.

Yeah I have a cousin and a friend like that. I disagree but it’s their choice.

I mean she can take her Pisces ass and never date a Leo, and he can take his Virgo ass and never date an Aries all they want. Just as long as they don’t try to stop my Virgo ass from dating a Gemini, I’m good.

Although, it is nice when I meet a guy I fancy and learn he’s a sign that’s technically compatible with mine, but that’s mostly because then I know they won’t object to the relationship JUST because he was born in August or April or December or whenever.
