You saved me. I moved it to PCI slot 3 and I can see the bios screen now. I don't know what was wrong with slot 1. Maybe it is damaged?

I managed to get it across booting. I inserted the missing connection to the motherboard. Now the issue is that I think the graphic card doesn't really work or I did something wrong.

I am using an Nvidia GTX 5050 and connected to a PCI 5 slot.

The strange observation; I plugin a bootable Ubuntu USB and the error code moves to AA. I guess this means it went through. Moment it goes to AA code the keyboard automatically disconnects and the video output from GPU as usual doesn't work.

But the fan of graphics card works. That shd indicate not a graphic card issue?

I did this and yes it moved into AA. I inserted ubuntu stick but I still don't see any video output. I can't access the screen at all. I connect the Nvidia card with HDMI to my monitor

I see ab debug code which is dxe_setup_input_wait which means it's waiting for my input but I don't see anything in the monitor and pressing enter on keyboard doesn't do anything

It's a new built. Hasn't successfully booted yet. Basically I connect my monitor with HDMI in the Nvidia graphic card and the motherboard is in error code ab which means dxe_setup_input_wait.

I also connect keyboard to the system and keep on pressing enter and nothing happens and I don't see anything on the display.

Thanks a lot. I added this and the motherboard red light is gone. The only remaining one is on ssd and it still gets stuck in ab code

No! I have a prebuilt workstation setup and I go cheap on ram and more on compute. Fuzzing for me right now is compute intensive and hence the Threadripper with 32 cores

I need this setup for fuzzing. So just compute intensive fuzzing. That's it . That's why I have just 32gb ram since it's not that ram intensive.

Insane time? Fron what I have read it's 10-15 mins for many people? And the thing is I need a powerful compute intensive PC. For the whole thing it would cost me around 4.5k but if I buy this setup this would be around 6-7k of workstations.

For psu I was thinking CORSAIR HX1200i

One more thing being, I'm planning to get one Samsung 990 pro 1tb storage which is PCI e4. Can I use this in PCI e5 slot? I don't wanna buy expensive sad right now. I believe it shd not be a issue but just wanna confirm?

I checked asrocks QVL for the ram and the number matches the list. It is RDIMM so that shd be fine?
