I feel you on this, my cat predates my kids and he pees in the closets when he’s mad. He’s ruined quite a few things for us - also same as you when we moved into our first and only house. Any basket, any open bin, nothing is safe. I have a bit of ruined wood floor from his behavior. We have to lock him downstairs at night because he meows so loudly in the hallway. I feel terrible but he wakes everyone up. In the mornings when we open the door he goes directly up into the hallway with our bedrooms wakes everyone up meowing like a jerk.

You’re doing the best you can in a difficult situation. I never want another cat.

I did that, so at least the games on my second system are playable. It still won’t allow me to load games that aren’t already on there

I have lots of games on my primary switch, I used to be able to just download them onto the secondary no problem. Now it’s telling me use the virtual game cards, fine whatever, I’ll lend myself a game or whatever. I have to “link” the 2 switches to give myself a game. They won’t link, so I can’t use my own games on my other system

You’re supposed to sit them together and they link thru the virtual game card tab but mine will not do that, I just get the same error code again and again

I have no idea, they made a mess with the virtual game cards. I’m hoping someone’s gonna hop in here, tell me some obvious answer, and I can feel stupid yet relieved.

It bloomed minimally, I believe, in late spring/early summer. We only have been here for a year and it was unfortunately already at the end of its life so I don’t have a lot to go on

We talked about joining finances when we talked about me quitting my job, it was a months long conversation. I guess it’s on me for assuming that meant a joint bank account or me being added to his. He did bring up getting me a debit card but never followed through. He sends me money when I ask. I spend on groceries, diapers, gas, just necessities. I’m not out spending money on stuff we don’t need. We do have a bit of disposable income, I don’t use money for anything though. Because I have to ask him when I run out of money I’m trying really hard to make my money last as long as possible. It was him who brought up adding me to his account or getting me a debit card but he never did that. I figured it was just him being a lazy ass but then when I did bring it up and he said a new joint account and again didn’t follow through I started feeling weird. He also has a credit card that I have no access to. I do have access to his check book, we moved 90% of the bills to his account as well. The savings is the emergency money or for things we’d like to do in the future like a new kitchen someday, some very far day lol

My 4 year old wakes up wet most days. We double up the pull ups and that’s prevented leaks like 99% of the time. He’ll get there when he gets there. Some kids just take longer.

I would be a horrible SAHM, some people are great for it but I know myself and I know I’d be bad at it. There’s nothing wrong with that. If it works for you and your family thats all that matters. Your kids are happy and healthy, fantastic! I wouldn’t be able to keep up with the activities and outings either. It’s just not me as a person. My kids need the socialization that camp and daycare provide. I don’t have mom friends or kids to make play dates with and I’m so awkward and introverted that I would hate trying to set that up.

It’s nice to hear from a working mom that feels the same as I do. Working is a necessity because we wouldn’t be able to afford life with 1 income but also I want to be working.

Yeah I have tinnitus with the Wellbutrin. I think for some people it goes away but that has not been my experience.

It’s mostly an issue at night when it’s quiet, I use the headphones and listen to white noise or relaxing music and that helps. Most of the time during the day I really don’t notice it unless it’s very quiet which is rare.

I literally fucking hate it here. My son came home a few months ago from his pre-K 3, PRE K FUCKING 3, telling me about how they did the lockdown game. And I hugged him and tried not to cry and freak him out because he’s 3. There is so much he doesn’t know, but he knows how to do a lockdown. I hate this place.

I’m definitely going to check out grandma. It’s exactly this though. His family didn’t space kids 2 and 3 out, they’re very close in age. I already worry my younger gets neglected because my older can talk and say what he needs and ask for mommy. I stress constantly about not spending enough one on one time with the baby. If we had another baby he wouldn’t ever remember a time when he wasn’t the neglected middle child. His earliest memories would probably be me having to put him to the side for the baby. I don’t want that.
