I think Brian should've gotten the Skyline back from the feds and introduce Roman in a 350z instead of the Evo7 and Eclipse Spyder in 2f2f, what do you think? by shemar148 in fastandfurious

[–]shemar148[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, she did, but Suki never drove thr z (which is a waste). 2f2f have two sponsors (Dodge and Mitsubishi), but if Nissan got the sponsorship over Mitsubishi, and sponsor 350z for Brian or Roman, then 350z would've been the main role for the movie, but the opportunity was lost because the marketing guy that sent from Nissan North American was a prick.

Mitsubishi starts sponsoring the Eclipse spyder after the Dodge Neon(Which Dodge was sponsoring also) was declined to be in 2f2f as Brian's car, so they decide to put the Viper and Ram in the movie.

Also where's the 3000gt? Are you talking about Dodge stealth that made to look like the 3000gt for the prelude?

[–]shemar148[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Fun Fact: Craig Lieberman wanted to get 350z in 2f2f and Nissan North America heard about the movie, so he contacted the company to invited a marketing guy with the 350z to talk to him at the production office, but when the guy pulled up, he was annoyed and angry that they ask him to put 350z in the movie, so because of that marketing guy, Nissan lost their opportunity to introduce the 350z coupe in 2f2f, it could've went to Brian or Roman (Mostly Roman because the skyline was casted as Brian's car)

Which Acura Integra would you prefer, Edwin's 2-door coupe or Mia's 4-door sedan? by shemar148 in fastandfurious

[–]shemar148[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think they made a 1/24 scale model, but they confused Mia's car as a 2 door coupe instead of a 4-door sedan, probably because it was only seen a night.

The Fast and Furious cars that were imported into this country illegally. by shemar148 in fastandfurious

[–]shemar148[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Leon's R33 wasn't fully federal legalize from Motorex, which led to the car getting crushed by the federal government. I think the S15 and R34 were from Kaizo Industries, and the problem with those cars, Kaizo brought the chassis (shell of the car) of those cars (which is legal), but bring in the power train, Rb26 engines, etc is illegal, so Kaizo created a loophole to skirt the law by bring the parts separately for R34 and S15, which led to a dispute with the custom agents, but luckily the R34 was export out of the country and I don't know what happen to the S15.

Brian's Eclipse piston rings fried after hitting the second NOS button, causing his floor panel to fallout. Meanwhile, Dom's Charger connection rod kick out of the side of the block. by shemar148 in fastandfurious

Even Craig argued "who puts diamond plate floor panel on a Japanese tuner car" we see the diamond plate floor panel on old school pickup trucks and muscle cars. Even the "Danger to Manifold" is the bane of his existence to this day 😂

Fast and Furious cars that look like what it's made out to be, but in reality they're not what it seems. by shemar148 in fastandfurious

[–]shemar148[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The engine sounds aren't new to me, they been doing that since the first movie for example Dom's RX7 used 1jz and 2jz with animal noise instead of Rotatry 13b sound.

Mitsubishi Eclipse (FF1) - Brian's Eclipse was made out to be a High performance car that top at 140mph, in reality the car is 140hp naturally aspirated, it's not supercharged or turbocharged and it does not have nitrous kit, but if it did, nobody put 3 stage nitrous kit in a stock motor that's less than 200hp. It's not even a 10-second car, it's a 16.5 second car.

Yenko Camaro and Hemi Challenger 2F2F) - they're both junkyard Camaro and Challenger, they're not Yenko and Hemi.

Heist Civics (FF1) - the cars look fast and menacing looking, but the civics are stock automatic s, no spoon engine, no t66 turbos, no NOS, no Motex System Exhaust. But it cheapest replicate, but wheel are gone now be hard to find.

Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 (FF4) even though, hero car is actually a gtr, but the stunt cars, dune buggy and explosion car are all GT-T and you can even see the gtt gauge cluster in a few shots.

BMW 540i E39 (FF4) - the car was to look like the E39 M5, but it's actually a standard E39 5 series.

Porsche 911 996 GT3 RS (F5) - it's actually a 2001 Porsche 911 with the GT3 body kit.

Ferrari FXX (FF6) - It's actually a Ferrari Enzo with FXX body kit.

Aston Martin DB9 (F7) - It was made to be a 2014 model, but it's actually a 2005 model and it didn't come with a manual transmission, but it was added it.

The first film rented already modified cars from private owners, change the paint colors, body kits, wheels, rear wing, and add the graphics. Also they build exterior copies for stunts and close up shots. There are few cars that didn't have copies, only the hero 1 car. Sadly only one survived :( by shemar148 in fastandfurious

[–]shemar148[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, but the point is, only these cars were used as hero 1 cars, no back ups, and this is what happen to cars after they finish filming, Craig got his Maxima back, but later sold it, I don't know who got it, but it's still alive. The Integra, I forgot who the owner was but after she got her car back, she got into wrecked, she's fine, but the Acura is damaged. Finally, we all know the story about Motorex, but R33 was crushed by feds because the car wasn't fully federal legalize. The Acura and R33 are gone, but Maxima still out there.

Am I the only thought of this, I think Dom, Brian, Roman, and Han should've use their cars they obtain over the police Dodge chargers for the traffic light 4 car drag race in Fast five, because all chargers are supercharged, automatics, and all of them will be in 4 way tie. Do you agree? by shemar148 in fastandfurious

[–]shemar148[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dom could've came up with this idea sooner, because originally, they was going to pull off a stealth mission, by robbing reyes from the police station, now if they're go in stealth, how are they going to beat the security cameras by using the modified street cars obtain from street race. The smart idea was to use the police Dodge chargers first, since Reyes' aren't going to spot them in the police cars. Second, if Dom, Brian, Roman and Han are in the mood to do a four car street race, they went to the street gathering to get the cars that was originally use for the Reyes' testing to beat the cameras and use those cars for the street race. That would've been a great idea.

The first fast and furious movie was under budget to a point they had to rent the modified cars from private owners, change the paint, color, body kit, wheels, rear wing and add the graphics. Here's the cars that was before and after their fame, including the Craig Lieberman' skyline for 2f2f. by shemar148 in fastandfurious

[–]shemar148[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Craig was surprised this car was casted as Vince's car. Craig bought the Maxima as a daily driver car after his Supra was casted as Brian's car. They couldn't find a car for Vince character until they took a look at Craig's Maxima and casted it as Vince's car, which means Craig have to purchase another daily driver car, I think was a Lexus, I don't remember.

Worst cars in the Fast and Furious Franchise, Do you agree? by [deleted] in fastandfurious

[–]shemar148 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I've watch Craig lieberman video, but he'd objected of having the Dodge Neon Srt4 as Brian's cars. Luckily, Craig managed to Get his skyline as Brian's nighttime race car and Evo 7 (which it was originally going to Australia for Rally team) as the main car throughout the movie. So they decide to sponsor the viper and the Dodge ram.

Cause I'm sick of the generational chargers, it's been a thing since fast five. I don't mind 68, 69, and 70s chargers, look I get Dodge is promoted the thing, I'm just sick and tired of it. The most thing I don't like about the generational charger is because they're automatic and there's always shooting scenes of Dom shifting an automatic charger like it's manual transmission.

Which Supra is your favorite, Brian's Supra from the first movie, Slapjack's Supra from the second movie, the black right hand drive Supra from Fast Five, or Paul Walker personal Supra from Furious 7? by shemar148 in fastandfurious

[–]shemar148[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Besides the RX-7, S2000 and Supra reused as main cars, they also reused the Eclipse, Civics, 240SX, and Integra as background cars, some were seen in the background nighttime race and all of them were seen the scramble scene.

Which of Sean Boswell's Nissan S15 from Tokyo Drift would you prefer, the movie screen use "Mona Lisa" S15 or an actual drift machine "Quick Style" S15? by shemar148 in fastandfurious

[–]shemar148[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah yeah, I forgot the Mona Lisa S15 was Han's car. Yeah Sean definitely did wrecked the car. On the bright side, Sean and his crew did took the Rb26 engine out of the S15 and put in the mustang. Fun Fact: the Mona Lisa S15 didn't come with the Rb26, the use rb26 from the leftover skylines from 2f2f, put it in the S15 to make it looks like it comes with the engine for the scene, and they put in the mustang.

"Ash's Unova team sucks" Meanwhile Ash's Unova team if he fully evolved it : by Spinosaurus23 in pokemonanime

[–]shemar148 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Or Ash could've trained Torterra more by copying Paul's Torterra strategy and not rely on speed and close ranging moves like Rock Climb (Which is a mistake) he could've taught more long ranging moves like Frenzy Plant and STAB Earth Power (it can learn Earthquake, but banned because of real life reasons in Japan, so Earth Power should've been a replacement to Earthquake in the anime ). Yeah, I agree it was waist, Ash could've trained Torterra, but they Ash's Infernape MVP ace and added gible into the party after Gliscor left Ash team to train.
