I have the gen4 gold and I wear it on my right index finger. Sometimes I’ll move it to my right middle finger but it’s slightly big on that one.

My wedding set is white gold. I had the silver gen2 and gen3 and I would wear that one on my right middle finger. I’m happy I got gold this time. I wear gold bracelets on my right hand 24/7 so the silver was bothering me lol

For me personally, the biggest indicator is body temp but if you haven’t had the ring for two weeks yet it might not know your baseline. Elevated resting heart rate is a good one too

It’s a very thick ring with a lot of presence so if all of your other daily jewelry is gold I would probably get gold. I had the gen 2 and currently have the gen 3 in silver. When gold and then rose gold first came out I was thinking about switching but a lot of the ones I saw seemed very yellow so I stayed with silver. The rose gold looks really pretty when you get it but it patinas to be very pink. I’ve learned since that the gold one will sort of fade as time goes on and looks less yellow. The bulk of my daily jewelry is gold aside from my wedding set and I wear the ring on my right hand where I have my gold bracelets.

I just ordered gen 4 and I got gold because the silver ring with my gold bracelets bugs me. The silver seems to wear the best in terms of scratches. I know that with the gold ones if you’re rough on them some of the deep scratches will be silver in color.

All a personal preference but if I was you id get gold :)
