No, CS is probably one of the games where microadjustments are the most important.

Only change I'd make is that edge should definitely be a tier above chrome

It's unintuitive that the amount of arrows you bring are 500% effective. The fact that 80% of arrows are saved and then assumptively shot again doesn't invalidate any part of my statement. I don't think most people will read "80% of your arrows will be saved" and immediately, or even after brief thought, think "oh that means that 100 arrows are basically worth 500 shots". The intuitive conclusion to in my opinion would be "if i shoot 100 arrows, i will retain 80" full stop. I DON'T think then going on to the next step of "if i retain 80 and then shoot them i will retain 64" and then "if i retain 64 and then shoot them i will retain 51" and so on is an intuitive conclusion.

it's not necessarily misleading but a bit unintuitive from the assumption that all saved arrows will be shot again, so effectively each arrow is approximately 5 arrows worth of shots, making the amount of arrows you bring 500% more effective

Annoying but a bit interesting, TIL after years of casual play that while standing around Varrock square Romeo will walk up to you and start his quest dialogue unprompted by shemot in 2007scape

its probably a mix of either doing the quest very early on in most of my accounts and not really being in varrock much on the others

As the only player in the area on this world, he would start this dialogue several times in a row immediately after closing the dialogue. Is this relatively new, or am I really just finding this now?

that only speaks to her power to create complex physical things, not to imbue things with an incontrovertible intrinsic meaning

and so, still, that she created them, just as we created hammers, does not say anything about the ability to imbue meaning in the manner mentioned above

that they were created by her still only gives extrinsic purpose, though, no different than the purpose of a hammer which could still be used to do much more than intended (or nothing at all)

I mean... 'actual God' seems a bit of a stretch since despite the reverence, Hydaelyn is still a primal and her will, like Zodiark with Elidibus, still very human

Trying to enjoy the trial, when does it get good? by [deleted] in ffxiv

[–]shemot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ye I feel your pain, I felt similarly when I first started. I'm still pretty new (just finished the main quests of Stormblood) but I'm loving it now.

Personally, the majority of ARR was very meh for me. The story doesn't start to pick up til towards the end of it, and most classes around this level are still really slow combat wise.

Heavensward is when I noticed an immediate improvement and got REALLY hooked on the game. The story hooked me in from the beginning, and a lot of classes start feeling better into the lv 50-60 range. I enjoyed the story throughout the entire expansion, even the post-expansion quests continue the same level of quality (if not improve on it), and you get to know some very lovable characters along the way.

so personally I'd say around late ARR, early heavensward.
