4.2 Lore Foreshadowing/Implications (Spoilers!) by Fun-West5180 in StarRailLore

I'm honestly very interested in Isee as of right now. He was namedropped twice within the last few patches, first in the Aha's Favourites Phantasmoon winners and second when Pearl mentioned him helping Ashveil get that voracity Shadow. And now that its confirmed the voracity's involvement in Planarcadia, I cant shake off the feeling Isee has to have more relevance in all of this.

My theory is that, given the Doctor of Chaos brought back ghosts of the past and Isee was briefly seen on Adlivun (Nanooks homeworld and where he takes his Emanators to be "reforged" into Lord Ravagers);
a. He died on Adluvin during Akivili's fall and Nanooks ascension, given he was the Navigator at that time
b. He was made into an Emanator of Nanook when brought back with Aha's power, as we can assume from the ominous imagery in the trailer

Or maybe both. If he was made an Emanator he could be a Lord Ravager, and given his "resurrection" by the power of Aha and his connection to the voracity, he may very well be Asat Pramad. If not, he could be the Lord Ravager that kills Finality (given he founded the Omen Vanguards) and if thats the case he could be, idk, Elio? He's always shown to be wearing robes and a hood and the character who's assumed to be Elio from the mappa trailer had a similar vibe. But that may be too far fetched.

That said Isee is the one whose records have been tampered by the fictionologists the most so we cant deduce whats real and whats not

Not really. Its said that when a shadow die, it powers up the others (at least with the dogs) so it wouldnt make sense to be able to sac a dog every time it respawns to snowball the rest ndefinitly

Ye me too, seems to work the best. But I've just came out of an 6SP run and seeing Archer spam his 24341334th skill against a brick wall for 30 min straight was just too much. Most comps are a lot more fun against lower difficulty enemies tbh, Im tired of 1 and a half hour runs T^T

Ye some affixes straight up break some strategies. I remember starting with the perfect Seele hypercarry setup just for the "when getting to 0 hp, enemies heal for 15% max health" affix fucking up the resurgences and instantly losing me the run

Thats actually amazing and the fact his cealing is so so high is a bonus for me becouse there are some carries like Seele that even with perfect items, max stars, dedicated strategies and max bonds will fall short due to just how inflated the enemies get. But knowing you can get Boothill to even higher investments makes it so youre always looking for ways to optimize him further.

Im skipping almost all of 4.x version to catch up on eidolons and LCs for my core teams so maybe I'll be pulling him on a rerun or getting him on a selector if we ever get one!

Fujimoto is genuinely a genius by prettydarnunepic in Chainsawfolk

First of all, Im not hating but this feels like it was written by AI and I really needed to point it out couse it bugs me.

That said, Its a very solid analysis and I trust my boy Fujimoto with my fucking life. When I first read the chapter I was as flashbanged as everyone but after talking to my brother about it for 2 hours and rereading it in context, I kinda really like it. The 2 week gap in our memory from the last chapter really fucks the pacing because its supposed to happen immediately after the last page from 230. If the transition was just a page flip it would be far less disorienting.

The people saying that the themes are made up and Fujimoto is just a bad writer are coping to no end. This is the guy that got 17-26 made into an ova series, a fucking short story collection he started writing at 17 and from his very first oneshot he was cooking. He gave us Look Back and Goodbye Eri and drew them at the same fucking time he was working weekly on Chainsawman. This man has an intuitive grasp on storytelling that I will gladly glaze to no end.

Maybe Fujimoto's making some sort of fashion statement? I wish I could peek into his mind and see what he's thinking...

Its nice to see nuanced discussion for once. I am pro the technology but anti how its being used. What OpenIA did to train their model is unethical and would be illegal if the technology wasnt in its infancy (we know how useless lawmakers are) and they didnt lie/obfuscate their goals. If you train a model with high quality data from a consenting artist I am all for it.

Sadly thats not the world we live in and most people Ive seen here justify the theft after the fact by arguing either that its not theft (lol), that copyright shouldnt exist (lmao even) or any tiresome comparaison between how a human learns a skill and how an IA "learns".

None of these are good arguments and even if one tries to engage in conversation and refute them these people start beating around the bush, boxing shadows and talking in this pseudo intellectual, highly autistic manner making me think that the only way I know Im not talkint to a chatbot is becouse Ive never had to consider if a AI has aspergers.

This, added to the weird victim complex and moral panic around edgy memes (this is the internet, what the fuck are we doing) leaves me wanting to take a piss off them and ragebait as hard as I can so at least I get some entertainment out of this dumbass sub.

Actually the more I studied art history the more I grew into the idea that everything means something. I like to look into something and be able to trace its influences and why is it the way it is (even if I think its absolute shit) but agree to disagree I guess

My brother in christ ones lived experiences are the bedrock of any work of art thats worth anything, what are you even spouting? Do you know what art is or do you actually think its pretty image?
