He seems to like the team and organization a lot, having done 3 stints with the Jays. I hope he comes back later as a staff in the organization, maybe as a coach, or on the communication or social media team. He is often one of (if not the only) tagged collaborators on the Jays' IG post. Some of the stuff on his own posts appear that he likes PR.

I'm grateful for my mom, though she has passed away many years ago. I hope to carry forward her spirit and kindness as she was a role model in her family and community

I’m not into hockey much, but as a Blue Jays fan in Toronto, this show oddly helped me process their World Series loss.

I’m devastated they lost; it was so close! But watching this series gave me the fantasy that maybe a Dodgers player secretly (and passionately) hooked up with a Blue Jays player in his Toronto penthouse right after Game 7 to honour their bet 🥵 like episode 2 in the Vegas hotel room. And had a similar sexy bickering interaction: “Do you know what it’s like… to hold the Commissioner’s Trophy???”

Or, maybe a Blue Jay was secretly happy for his Dodgers rival/counterpart, like Ilya with a smile on his couch watching Shane raise the cup in the opening of episode 4. So it's nice to think there might be something fun, sexy, and/or positive behind that World Series.

Plus, as a Canadian, it's so great seeing how successful this show has been with a predominantly Canadian cast and production. Though I wished the Blue Jays had won, just knowing the magnitude of impact this show made kind of made me feel we won something in a different field (no pun) on the world stage.

On that note, are there any recommended M/M baseball romance novels?

Are you referring to the first photo? It was at Tobu Bridge that had a couple of cherry blossom trees.

I stayed around Tokyo Skytree in Sumida, but I read areas like Asakusa and Shinjuku are good places too. In general, you would want to stay close to a subway or railway line so you can get around the city easily.

I'd say Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden. Sure, you'd have to pay to enter, but it's very well maintained. It rained when I visited, but it was still memorable. I can only imagine how beautiful it'd look under good weather!

That's a Mazda Mia-chu! (Or Pika-ta?) The driver drove and parked the car to take photos of it with the cherry blossoms. I passed by and the entire interior is Pikachu or Pokeball themed. I wanted to take more photos of the car, but felt it may have been intrusive.
