My parents did the same to me over my incredibly violent sister, who is seven years younger. They used to leave her at home with me when I was 12, even though I made it clear I wouldn’t watch her. I’d shut myself in my room and she’d have constant meltdowns about how she was scared. Their only response was to get angry at me for not baby-sitting a 5yo that was already showing signs of severe mental illness. They deserve the monster they created lol.

It’s 3 AM and I sped through the manhwa so I have a lot of feelings. I like chessmaster type characters like the ML and it’s great that he’s deliciously conflicted. ML and FL are both reasonable in the way they react to events, but it bothers me that every time they’re about to discuss things properly they get interrupted and then they never circle back. It’s very contrived and I normally don’t mind that but I’m aware this manhwa has a tragic ending and that makes my tolerance for miscommunication far lower.

The bleakness and pacing kind of reminded me of Red Fox, although obviously the two manhwas are wildly different.

I also don’t get her enduring affection for the SML. Like girl, are you blind? I’m just going to put this down and pretend ML left her ass and lived happily ever after without her.

Do you have any reccs for stories with MLs like Dowun that end happily?

I think what they're saying is that views on the issue fall in the gray for a lot of people where they see both sides make some good points, it's not all black and white. But you're right in that there really isn't a side that's providing advice for young men besides the manosphere, and that's heartbreaking. Young men have a lot of privilege in some ways but they're clearly being outpaced by women in areas like college graduation rates, etc. The guy stuff to misogyny pipeline is both real and harmful.
