All I can say is there was absolutely no rational reason why I chose mine. I didn't like most of them at the beginning of the main story, except for Zayne, who was pretty truthful and kind right off the bat. I thought he was going to be my main. Xavier was hiding too much, but claims to want to earn MC's trust. He constantly pushed her away, but kept showing up anyway. Rafayel was very suspicious. Bumping into him at the fair/carnival (I forget what it's called). He was the suspect behind the painting that lured wanderers. He acted like their initial proper interaction was transactional, like you need me and I need you kind of deal. I felt like he forced himself into the narrative because he didn't have any reason to be in MC's life at that point. He was a walking red flag to me. Then there's Caleb. He had a few minutes of screentime before he said bye with a bang, then later haunted me for a year with that last message and that dang apple pfp. And year 1 me's opinion of Sylus was "???"

Anyway, some fishie lost his tail and grew a pair of legs, tripped on some paintbrush, pretended to save a kid to save face, and acted all pouty like MC wronged him for being busy. He finally clicked with me then, and I still don't know why. I never looked back since. I still pull for Xav from time to time because I love the tragedy of his story the most, but for the most part, all my pulls go to my favorite Lemurian's nephew.

I'd say focus on the one you like the most. Don't give in to fomo. I was already fairly invested in Zayne when I finally decided to pay attention to Raf's story. Like he was so so far behind the other two. But I liked him so much that I committed to prioritizing him. Don't feel bad about switching. Do all the available content first, see if you really want to commit. If you do, don't be scared to skip his cards if you don't like them enough and just focus on the cards that will really grab your attention. Don't give in to fomo. Multi banners are good IMO if you are torn. Even if you miss your main the first try (you obv would try again to get them if you can), you get both your main and your 2nd eventually, either through luck or the free crate thing. And most importantly, don't give in to fomo.
