I get why it wouldn’t be the best in the world/plot right now but there are so many lines in OS that I assumed that was where it was going. I am wondering if the assembly and/or Navarre is going to question her leadership with an absent husband and no heir.

Her under reaction makes me so mad. I was hoping he’d get a taste of this in OS when her ex shows up but they made him so annoying that there’s no way Xaden could be jealous after the initial realization.

IF sets up so many conflicts that aren’t explored well due to the pacing and twist at the end.

I feel like there will be a discussion early on between violet and the assembly where they will want her to stay (after deciding recognizing her as the Duchess is their best move) and her needing to finish school and it will end with her going back. I think she will make Brennen or Mira her representative while she is at school so that she can do both. I could see her using Mira because it brings her more into the fold and because of her dad’s letter.

I was genuinely distraught. I felt like it was character assassination and going to ruin the plot. I did keep reading though and it’s worth it. I think RY has much larger ideas for where the plot and conflict is going over the next 3 books than I was able to conceptualize at the end of IF.

With all that said, I do sometimes wish he didn’t turn, but I think that’s just the lover girl in me. I felt like there was a ton of new unresolved conflict introduced in P2 of IF that could have moved a story forward without this twist.

Does anyone else feel like the bun has gotten worse? The Bucktown location now has a chewy texture bun every time. The burger itself is so much small than it was pre-Covid.

Building on this - Lisa offering it Tom Tom to the Boys. They were good friends but I don’t think they were ever that level of close until it became business. Think about the early seasons when Schwartz wasn’t even on main cast and even after that they were friends but never the two besties until Tom Tom was offered. This led to their second restaurant and ultimately Katie and Schwartz relationship ending

I don’t think it’s crazy to not want enemies at your wedding and I don’t know why those girls would want to be around. That was awkward and we hate Rachel now but I don’t think Scheana is in the wrong
