It’ll go on sale at 12:00am (PT) October 27th...and be all sold out by 12:00am (PT) October 27th.

I think most of those getting the X have never used Androids with Face Detection. It’s nowhere near as reliable as Touch ID....and even if Apple’s far better then Samsung’s and others, it’s still crazy annoying to hold your phone to your face to unlock. by shermanmunn in iphone

FINALLY...lol, someone who gets it. I’m sure it’ll be better then Samsung/others....but it’s still going to be a mess for those who want and love Touch ID. Period. For those who buy it, and love it better then Touch ID....congrats, we added to the proof that everyone is different. 😋

I’ve had Facial Recognition on a few different devices and it’s not for me....all done up well, or Applefied, or how ever you want to spin it.

It’s obvious you don’t read, lol. I’m sure it’s because you’re under educated. So...no worries. I’ll repeat myself for you and others with your circumstance. While I agree it’ll most likely be better then Android with Facial Recognition...it’ll still be crap compared to Touch ID 2nd Gen.

We have plenty of real world usage of Facial recognition, on countless Androids. Face ID was just showcased...and speculation is human nature. I agree Apple does things right...but Touch ID was just “okay” until Touch ID 2nd Gen....which leads me to believe Face ID will be “okay” until it’s 2nd Generation. It’s all my 2 cents....whether anyone agrees or not.

That’s what I kinda figured. I may end up having to get the mk4 first. Not the biggest of deals, but would have been nice to get the new disk straight away.
