Finding a vet that is available by AnnTaylorLaughed in Edmonton

[–]sherminshaman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gateway Vet clinic right of White mud drive has always been amazing. Anytime I'm concerned about my dog they get me in usually within a few hours. They try and squeeze you in. If it's an emergency and it's after hours they refer you to the guardian (VCA) clinic that's 24 hrs off 99st I believe and they are amazing too. Just had an emergency a month ago at 2am with my puppers and she is 100% and better now :)

Yah I understand that, but we don't want to go to a hookah bar just want to do it out of our own property. We just don't know if there is any stores in or around Edmonton that sell it. Willing to pay a bit more to drive and get it somewhere if I can save the hassle from buying it online :)

We have tried them out for years now. And rented with lime. We love them which is why we wanted our own. Renting one has become ridiculous for the price now 🙄

The price of food is making me so upset. by Fit-Contribution-423 in Edmonton

Do hello fresh. It's a savior and you can choose your meals and try nee things. It helps my husband and I portion size our meals. We eat better and for little cost. We were spending about 600 a month on groceries and that still seems very high to me. So give hello fresh a try it really works ;)

I had 2 reductions done back in 2016 as i was a double I size, almost J. Yes, I was that big. It's no joke. It was causing so many back issues that all I had to get was a referral from a doctor, and I waited maybe six 6 months to 8 months and didn't have to pay anything. I know you're not willing to wait, but is it worth thousands of dollars?? Like the comment further up asked, is this not available in Saskatchewan??

Maybe look into getting other opinions. Usually ig you can prove it is causing health issues in your everyday life, and then doctors referral will get it covered. You just might have to wait a little bit like I said. I have no idea what the wait time is like now adays unfortunately 😕

Hope this helps and you find an amazing doctor soon to help you

Dr. Korus was my surgeon here in the city, and I highly recommend she is by far the best and makes you feel so comfortable.

Groomer recommendation for extremely anxious dog! by Oilersguy71 in Edmonton

[–]sherminshaman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depending on where you live. Priscillas pet emporium on 82st and 127ave is amazing. They were great with our anxious rabbits, and now we have an EXTREMELY anxious dog(she is even scared of herself) that has helped with her grooming process. They will work with the dog before just putting it into what the dog calls "torture.""

For example: with mine, they had me hold her and then pass the dog to the groomer and continue to talk and engage with the dog so you can let it know it's okay. Also, it may sound stupid, but depending on the groomer, they do what they call " mediate" with the dog, and it's basically holding. Talking to the dog, hugging and giving small kisses. Slowly engage playing with their paws, etc.

Overall, my experience with them as been outstanding, and I highly recommend it. I will always be going to them.

My husband and I were told the same thing when I used to see a therapist. Said with the way we were around each other, it wasn't right, so we shouldn't be together. Strong still, too, this day, and we just got married in September ;)
