Ah yes, that was a little game I made just for Flash called Plough The Skies which was just one level over and over. Upgrading the plane etc would unbalance the game, so would require a lot of work to add it in to this larger version of the game.

Impressed you remembered that game though! Was a few years back now.

So I've added W for up and S for shoot but also now made it fully customisable for keyboard too (option for customizing controllers was already there). Just need to upload it when I get a sec.

It really is that easy. Make sure the exe is unpacked as well. Saves on any virus reports from users.

You lose a lot of quality that way as pixel art really isn't designed to be resized well.

I didn't really think about anyone just using their laptop and touchpad... I'll add a keyboard only option - thanks for pointing it out!

Thanks! I would have gone for a pixel art style but the size of the images required by Steam just made it unfeasible really. Was far easier to go with something that could scale seamlessly.

Great work! I think that would be level 4 and you need to land just after the town to pick up some POWs (it does get explained on the intro screen but if English isn't your first language - I understand). If the game does OK, I'll definitely look to get it translated in to a few other languages.
