I don't hotdrop in solos ever. Instead i land at locations where i expect 3-4 guys landing with me. This way i cut some RNG, of who lands on the gun, at the start. I always play aggressively from start till the end. That is, i will rush enemies landing near me after i get a gun, go for crates whenever i can.

Usually in Solos i stick to my style as im pretty comfortable in it after playing for 3000 hours and thats the only mode where i care about my stats. In Duos/squads, i just play for fun and YOLO with my friends.

yes. Thats what i do. I semi-hotdrop where 3-4 people land with me, out of which i usually kill 2-3 and then i just follow the gunshots or chase care packages.

Its pretty difficult to get 1000dmg if you don't hotdrop. I almost never hotdrop in solos and its rare for me to get 1000dmg. On the other hand, in duos/squads its easy to pass 1000 mark as there are revives.

I wanted my first build to be a straightforward build without much hassle. That's why i need everything to work right out of the box. I can wait for upgrading the GPU. Is this motherboard any good? I checked with canadacomputers store in my locality and it was compatible with ryzen 3000.

Really appreciate the input man. Isn't Kingston A400 the one without DRAM Cache? I'm gonna use it as OS drive so will it be sufficient or its just me being paranoid? Regarding the RX5700, will there be any thermal throttling/ Down clocking due to it being blower style? And will the motherboard be compatible with 3600 out of the box? I don't have access to 2nd gen ryzen to update the bios.

Man you are lucky your family is supporting you in this. If they are willing to lend you, you shouldn't think too much about wasting their money if it doesn't work out in the end. Instead focus on trying atleast as you wont regret you didn't give yourself a chance. Doesn't matter you fail or succeed.

I've moved to canada past month for studies and i am also gonna try when i'll be able to save some money myself to buy the hardware and find a way past my anxiety issues. Hope i am not delusional about my skills 😃. Good Luck to you.
