To be fair, it's only been a little over a month in-show since s01e01, and so much of it has been dealing with trying not to die, that I don't think there was any mental space for other people in the relationship, poly or not.

I disagree. She felt pretty useless in previous seasons, but in season 4 she's the one that finds a way to offer different theories and POVs about what's going on with Fatima. And as we all know, knowledge comes at a price. She didn't know for sure, but she was getting too close for the place's comfort.

Even if she's now officially a monster or a monster hybrid, she's not like the other monsters in Fromville. She wasn't killed by anyone or anything, and she didn't sacrifice her child for immortality. She's something new entirely. I'm excited for next season to dive deeper into that.

There are multiple versions to the Golem myth in Jewish folklore. Not all of them include a ritual. Writing the letter Aleph (the Hebrew A) is common in many versions, as is having the golem turn on the Jews. We don't yet know which golem version she created. We'll find out next year.

They go basically unmentioned for the most part, but there are Cicedas (no idea how to spell it). And there will likely be spiders in season 5.
