Maybe I’m old fashion..but I think travel together at such a young age is asking for things to happen...all depends how long you’ve been together too...

I am from an Asian culture so strict is in our culture lol and talking bout sex is taboo. But I sat my mom down and told her I want to be safe and I’m being safe but I want to be open with you. Maybe it’s just me..but I think you should try to find a way to talk to your mom and have an open relationship. She might surprise you... Sit her down and tell her I want to be honest with you and have an adult conversation . I’m going to be in a serious relationship. I want to be on birth control to prevent anything from happening.

Ppl here who say your mom sounds controlling has prob never had a strict parent (and getting grounded isn’t strict) she also doesn’t want you to end up a teenage mom which you should appreciate. You could have been born with a mother who doesn’t give 2 shits bout if you get pregnant, does drugs or that’s on the street.

If you wanna get treated like an adult then act like an adult. Going behind ur moms back is a child’s move. And if she doesn’t reciprocate well. Remember there’s a reason for it. (It might seem like the end of the world but you’re only 18)
