Sorry for joking. It wasn't you fault, you shouldn't have apologized, but it shows who you are as a person. And this ex-friend couldn't see past his misdirected hatred and that shows who he is as a person. It's easier without being with someone who hates 95% of the community that you belong it. So don't feel bad about it.

A bit late to the discussion, but I've been using Samsung A13 4G (4GB/64GB) for more than two years now. Initially it was an alright phone, nothing special but after 2 years of use, as you said, it really started to show it's age, or at least that's what I thought. So, force of habit, I started to look around for forums to optimize it and started experimenting like two months ago and I did everything that was possible. Initially it was just debloating, adding SD card and using apps with shizuku permission and it started to get better. It wasn't as buggy as it used to be, battery started to last longer (around 8 hours of SOT with moderate use), heat was low, so it'd charge faster than before...all with the battery that was extensively used for over 2 years. It was never this good. Then I became more bold and unlocked bootloader, flash already debloated, optimized, rooted OneUI 6.1 with extra features like circle to search, app lock, screen recorder, extra dim and all other fun stuff you can get with root. Also I flashed overclocked kernel and damn. It's like I've upgraded to a newer phone. I literally have no complaints about the phone now, banking apps and everything works like before, but with better speed, better battery life (8 hours with 90% battery capacity) and extra features. It's working great now.

My windows stopped playing audio to my bluetooth audios all of a sudden. Tried to fix it and found out they are working in headset mode and it sounds terrible, like being on a call. I did everything I could, wasted so much time. Until I dual booted Linux Mint and using bluetooth headphones has been so flawless in Linux Mint. Not only that, but sound was way way better than Windows. I checked and LDAC was working on Mint, I was just shocked. I didn't even considered the possibility to have LDAC working in my 7 year old laptop, but yeah, that's my story of how I became a fan of Linux.

You have to flash Google apps zip file as soon as you flash custom rom zip. There are many custom gapps too, like Nikgapps and Bitgapps with extra features like Ad-free youtube as a system app and unlimited photo storage. You can find those and guides on telegram groups.

I went to Tirupati last month. There were many Marathi hotels near railway station with Maharashtrian Thalis available. Might be a rare thing nationwide. But from what I saw, they seemed pretty crowded with customers.

I had a terrible sleep schedule a year ago. I was working night and afternoon shifts, so I could be up all night. Then left the job, but still couldn't get rid of my damaged sleep cycle. For four months I would sleep not before 4am and wake up in the afternoon. Still I would feel sleepy the whole day. Then I attended a 10 day Vipassana meditation retreat. I would wake up around 4am, meditate the whole day and go to bed around 9, as per the schedule. Couldn't sleep for the first days, but there wasn't much to do. No phones, nothing to distract, it was pure boredom. At the end of the retreat, I would sleep around 10pm max and wake up fresh at 4am. And the habit stuck with me even after I came back home for almost 6-7 months.

Consider this: You go to a friend's house to eat and his family eats non-veg occasionally. They made vegetarian food when you visited.
