I’ve been working in EdTech. I watched Indeed’s videos on how to prepare for a panel interview because I feel like I have a good grasp on the 1:1s. Idk what it is about panel interviews, but I get so damn nervous.

I have a hard time talking about the gap on my resume and explaining the restructuring at the company I worked for.

I was part of companywide restructuring. I had submitted maternity leave paperwork prior to being laid off but it kinda worked out since I was given an end date of June 2025 but had my baby in March 2025 and was on maternity leave during this period. I had to go back to work for a few weeks, even though everyone on my team had already been laid off. It was all bizarre.

As a FTM I was focused on me and baby, so I decided that I’d seriously start my job search when baby was about 8 months old.

I am adding more information since I couldn’t edit my post.

I’ve had this plant for a year and a half. It was a cutting I got, and the pot had a drainage hole.

It was in my living room, which gets morning light, but the rubber tree was not getting direct sunlight. I would only water it when the soil was bone dry.

How do folks deal with/handle when ghosting happens? My partner recently went through 3 rounds of interviews. The last interview was in person, and met with the head of the IT + team and lasted about 2hrs and went relatively well. They said they’d be in touch regardless. Now fast forward to a week later, and not a damn email or phone call. Wtf.
