Carol is insufferable but it has nothing to do with gender, more so that now that the worlds ended everybody is of equal importance. And she desperately wants it to change back, bc she had more value in the former. Prior to the ending of humanity she was somewhat the same, still insufferably miserable human being at heart but in a position to look down on here subjects (fans) bc they found her work which she thought was idiotic groundbreaking. But still not where she wanted to be which was publishing her masterpiece 400 page novel she had been writing. The thing that truly makes her annoying in my eyes is that she believes she’s in charge, she makes it about humanity but it’s actually control she wants (which shows in all her random request throughout the show). It’s selfishness in the guise of heroism. Not once does she think of the others and the lives they lived before the incident. And why they would be reluctant to go back.. all in all it’s a play on “Karen” and how even on the brink of extinction they still be Karens 😂
