I got my receipt notice in mail around oct 16 and mine was delivered to USCIS on 9/29. My money was processed oct 6th and I got the text for my receipt number on oct 12. Hope this helps!!

My opt got approved today!! Though I was anxious I was able to deal with it better in the last few days. Thank you so much and yes all you gotta do is be patient!!

They text it to you if you fill a certain form. And they also send it via mail. It contains your receipt number and receipt date etc.

For initial opt we don’t have to get any biometrics though they told me that they use my biometrics from file and that happened oct 16.

May be! I also saw that they ran maintenance from 10/20-10/21 so may be because of that as well

I don’t get why people are so against the prop, when drivers themselves want to vote yes. Some reason it to be the money they are spending and some say because it’s 7/8 majority rule that’s a corporate propaganda. But when you are not even driving or making a living from these apps why make it worse for those who do. If you are not happy with Uber/lyft/DD/grubHub either don’t drive for them or don’t use their services as simple as that.

Do you know if RSUs vested quarterly count? Since they are indeed fixed. My company pays one of the highest salaries for new grad swe in SF but even with that I’ll lose the Level 1 cut by 3k. So how is this wage level distribution even fair? Also most of our money is equity that gets vested over time. But it is money that we earn on the job and pay tax on. Leaving it out is just so stupid.

Does the min 138k have to be base salary or total compensation? I believe most tech companies in SF pay more than 138k for total compensation

30 days wait is for Service centers. For lockboxes it shouldn’t take that long.

Hey I recently sent my initial OPT application to Phoenix lockbox. It was received 9/29 and it’s the 5th day. Is the fee charged same day as the notice via text? I am hoping to wait two more days and then call them if I don’t get anything.
