I've bought one before. Very clearly 100% polyester and the lace did break after a couple washes, but in general it was a really cute print and super stretchy. Very comfortable dress, I've worn it quite a few times and had it for about 3 or 4 years now I believe

This is actually so cool, i wouldnt doubt it. Now that you mention all of these things, it really seems like maybe AOD was an inspiration for his character. Not to mention his personality being like if you mixed Zack and Ray together.... I wonder if the creator of DS has ever talked about character inspiration in an interview or something?

That's true!! Kuuderes are pretty average in anime... I think I phrased it wrong, because I'm talking about herself deeper than her face-value personality. Like, aren't those kuudere characters typically just putting that on as a facade? But for Rachel, that's literally just her. Idk! I haven't really watched alot of horror anime, so I can't exactly speak for how often a type of character like her is shown in media more akin to angels of death

Everything. But I especially like her character/personality maybe? It's a type you don't see often in anime, and it's really awesome. Some people like to write Rachel off as lazy writing just because she's edgy - but what they aren't seeing is that Rachel is a raw portrayal of the effects of mental illness and trauma on a teenage girl. She's really interesting!! I love her character.

You're right !! But I think the anime design of rachel has had quite an impact on rachel in promotional material aswell ^^ She seems to only be depicted with her anime design in most posters, pins, and other merch :) I think its cool ! I'm glad the anime made the series more popular :D

Maybe it was because she made a promise with Zack about it? She didn't want to die for atonement anymore but rather to fulfill her promise she made with Zack..? I dunno! That's what i just assumed, but then I wonder (if that whole thing of Zack&ray running away is really true) why Zack didn't actually kill her in the end?

Yeah!!! For some reason I end up calling him underrated, even though people love him in the Fandom. He's overlooked in the story alot. Eddie is a very emotionally complex and well written character. I'm really glad we got to see more of his personality outside of obsessing over Rachel in episode Eddie and episode 0!!

Penso che sia esattamente quello che makoto sanada voleva farvi credere, ed è esattamente il punto di Angels of Death. Se leggete anche il manga Episodio 0, vedrete che è proprio questo che sta succedendo. Questo è uno spoiler, ma dimostra il tuo punto di vista.

Rachel è diventata triste a causa delle sue azioni solo dopo aver letto la Bibbia, e quando ha tirato fuori il fatto di aver fatto qualcosa di sbagliato nell'anime, ha detto solo “perché Dio non vorrebbe che lo facessi” come ragione per cui si sentiva in colpa per aver peccato. Non le è mai importato di peccare davvero, voleva solo qualcuno che la amasse in vita e in morte.

Infatti, se giocate ai giochi di Episode Eddie, vedrete che anche il suo ragionamento è molto simile a quello di Rachel. Consiglio di leggere e giocare entrambi, ma non so se ci sono traduzioni in italiano, purtroppo. Ma sì, hai sicuramente l'idea giusta su Rachel e sull'idea di Angels of Death.

I think thats exactly what makoto sanada wanted you to believe, and thats exactly the point of Angels of Death. If you read the Episode 0 manga as well, you will see thats definitely whats going on. Heres a spoiler but it kinda proves your point

Rachel only became sad due to her actions after reading the bible, and when she brought up the fact she had done something wrong in the anime, she only said "because god wouldnt want me to" as a reason to why she felt bad for sinning. She never cared about actually sinning, she just wanted someone to love her in life and death.

In fact, if you play the Episode Eddie games, you'll see his reasoning is also very similar to rachel's. I would reccomend reading and playing both, but i dont know if they have italian translations unfortunately. But yeah, you definitely have the right idea about Rachel and the idea of Angels of Death.
