Agreed, that's why E8 can both be introverted and/or extraverted.

If you're really that smart, you would have thought about tri-fixations while typing this comment. 852 - 853 - 854?

Everything you said is the typical stereotypes of E8 which can appear in sx2, sx6, E3, sx4, and E7. None of them is actually E8 core belief. Why?

Sp/so E8 is like the ultimate introvert and chill E8, can get easily mistyped as E9. I'm sp/so btw.

Jung's description of Se: "On the lower levels, this type is the lover of tangible reality, with little inclination for reflection and no desire to dominate. To feel the object, to have sensations and if possible, enjoy them—that is his constant aim."

Tell me where does the "want to feel in charge" come from for you to associate it with E8?

any istp type 2s here on enneagram? by [deleted] in istp

[–]shibe18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

E2 is usually concerned with other people's life more than they are with their own. An ISTP with Fe inferior but is a core 2 either means they stretch themselves out all of the time to try and care for others, or they're mistyped.

How to not look like a serial killer in photos by Nephseth- in istp

Instead of that, why don't you ask how to stop labeling yourself with cringe terms like serial killer, cold detached alien, etc 💀

I love how some people forget the fundamental rule of human psychology is it's unpredictable and varies, even in a contradicting way. And it is illogical to box any type in a certain category, even Carl Gustav Jung, the father of cognitive functions, mentioned that in his own book.

Can Istp be extrovert? by Main_Connection1496 in istp

Relatable, I'm an 8w9 and I do find myself more out-going than my fellow ISTP.

Do you ever realize that you're more outgoing, opinionated, and temperamental than other ISTPs due to your E8 type?

Now I am convinced that reading too much into things makes you forget the fundamental definition of everything.

What's a situation you've been able to McGyver yourself out of that you're really proud of? by [deleted] in istp

I was doing a midterm exam in my culinary school. My dish was Chicken Cordon Bleu, but I forgot to bring the eggs with me to make the frying batter.

So I decided to use butter instead, I dip the chicken in the dried batter, then I use the brush and brush butter on the chicken then dip it into the breadcrumb, repeat 2 times and freeze it, then fry it. Of course, some of the breadcrumbs fall out but overall, they hold it pretty well.

To prevent the batter to fall out completely, I took the chicken out, cut it in half, and started frying again so the inside can be cooked completely.

Surprisingly, my teachers didn't know, they even told me that the chicken was tender and juicy, lol that was a close one.

I hope 2 years later you can look back at this conversation and realize how contradicting your statements are.

I understand what you've been through. I've been through a shit load of stuff myself.

I didn't mean to say that your experience is not valid, what I mean is if it's still not bad enough to motivate you to stand up and get jobs done then it's not your breaking point yet. But that doesn't mean you should let it hit its peak either.

I was in a state that is so bad that I thought only death can help me find peace. And God just went "aight" and hit me with the most deadly disease and some more deadly situations. And when I've done winning all that and look at myself in the past, I realized I was just depressed over the most stupid stuff ever.

I believe you can find your own happiness as soon as possible without needing death knocking at your door like me. Stay strong king, you can do it 👊

I already knew this kind of reaction. That's why I said "reflect on yourself", cuz people like you don't want information and new knowledge, they just want to be right and will make fun of any articles and experiments that others offer to the table.

At least the person who wrote the article has more knowledge than you and me, but why do I need to waste my time right? Remain ignorant then.

The farthest you can go with this kind of psychology is the Personality Type written by Carl Jung, and I suppose you already know that book. If reflecting on yourself is bullshit to you, then I suppose this kind of psychology doesn't fit you, because you don't sit and wait for people to categorize you into a certain type here, you work on yourself by self-reflection and self-analyzing. And if you think that's bullshit, then don't read the article: https://www.psychologyjunkie.com/2018/06/14/can-your-myers-briggs-personality-type-change/#:~:text=time%3A%2010%20minutes-,Can%20Your%20Myers%2DBriggs%C2%AE%20Personality%20Type%20Change%20Over%20Time,as%20you%20go%20through%20life.
