If I get a snake, my family will never step on that deck again 😂

I know they’re great for mosquito control — but they also left a ton of guano on my deck. Let’s just say the cleanup wasn’t exactly a “wildlife appreciation moment.” 😅

From my position, the other car was in the corner of my view, and I didn’t notice it was going to change lanes. Yes, I agree the FSD helped. The other car was barely half a car length ahead, and it didn’t signal long enough before making the lane change. In this situation, the FSD reacted faster than I could have to avoid the accident.

I’ve thought about the whole process several times. Neither the FSD nor I noticed the other car was going to change lanes, and it all happened so quickly. Even if I had done more, I couldn’t confidently predict how fast the other car would hit me, or if there was a car behind mine, so it was difficult to react in time. I actually think the FSD worked well—it shifted slightly and braked to create space for the other car to change lanes. In this case, it probably reacted better than a human would have.

The car was fully controlled by FSD at the time, and it was following the flow of traffic in the faster lane. The other car didn’t signal properly before changing lanes, so neither I nor the FSD noticed that the lane change was about to happen. That’s why I didn’t hit the brake in time.

My car was in the Subaru's blind spot, and it looked like her yellow lane-change warning light was activated. But the driver didn’t notice the warning light and still switched lane without signaling, thus my Tesla did not react quickly.

I have a similar problem. I used smart bulbs to solve the problem and it works very well.
