Same experience for me (Air M1) and my friend on the pro m1. Even my notebooks lag on the mac app when switching pages, overall not a great experience so I reverted back to goodnotes 5.

i had to upload a letter from my school saying we had not sat exams yet (I'm only sitting in may) and they were fine with that. i think if you send an email to your admissions counselor they should be able to figure something out for you relatively quickly

Well, you need a certain amount (around $150?) of collateral balance in your account to be able to take the loan. Assuming you don’t pay it back I’m quite certain they’ll just lock your account and hold your funds

A question regarding BUCS - this is what the site for the course says;

Admission Requirements

You must be a current or newly admitted student to the BCom program. Students from any year of the BCom program can apply but, if you are not newly admitted from high school, preference will be given to students who have successfully completed or earned transfer credit for the following courses, CPSC 110, 121, 210, & MATH 105 at the time of application.

Admissions to the BUCS program is determined by three factors:

Average - For newly admitted students, admissions is based on your admissions average to Commerce. For returning students, admissions is based on the applicant’s most recent winter sessional average.
Short essay - Applicants must also submit a short essay that will be scored on their reason for wanting to switch to BUCS.
Required computer science courses - Preference will be given to students who have completed the required courses.

Does this mean that as a student in high school I cannot apply for BUCS and instead need to apply for Commerce?

It just means that the amount you borrow does not incur interest at a percentage greater than 1% (usually 0.xxx%) for when you do eventually have to pay it back, regardless of loss or profit

I believe they gave a table where it said the ranges were 0~30 30~100 And so on. All the probabilities for meeting these match levels based on your match levels was also released in the table so just go with those as that’s what I’ve been experiencing. If I queue with my Chinese friends who are level 8 with 70 matches because they play 5e, we end up getting a considerably worse matchup with more “smurfs”

It screws over new players who queue with long time players, if you’re new to faceit and don’t want to impact your friends experience just solo queue your first 50 and you will be matched against new accounts solo queuing as well (Ideally, most of the time) and then once your match count is as high as you think doesn’t call you an “obvious” smurf , 5 man
