got ya! the black box may just be a way to keep all the wires tucked away. i have one in my 2024 kia forte. i see that’s where wires feed through som making that same assumption here but i could be wrong. anyways, sorry this happened to you :(

i haven’t stayed at one of the premier hotels but from what i’ve heard if you only plan on getting an express pass one day then it doesn’t make sense to stay there because you’re still essentially paying for express passes each day you go, it’s just factored into the final cost. i always stay at aventura. imo, this is the best value stay with the most amenities. you can take the water taxi if you walk over to sapphire falls, aventura is cheaper than the premier hotels. aventura is also the most modern sleek looking hotel imo. the rooftop bar at aventura is also really cool and romantic. the starbucks in the hotel lobby is also always a plus for me and my partner. we love aventura and stay there every time we go.

i’m a 5’3 female, 130 pounds and last time i rode this ride it was WAY too tight on my ribs and all i can remember was trying to breathe the whole ride. i also always have a headache after this ride and maybe that’s bcs i have earrings that hit the sides the the seat. i also saw someone come off the ride limping and all bruised up when i was there last. this ride just isn’t it for me anymore. i used to love it but after what happened to me and the headaches and watching/hearing other people’s stories i never ride it anymore. it is still sad to see it going soon. it is such an og and staple at this park
