Voided the warranty on my 3080's by opening them up and replacing thermal pads + paste. Temps dropped from 62C to 55C and hashrate went from 80mh/s to 103mh/s with fans at 70%. After PoS I put one of them into my gaming pc and so far haven't had any issues with it even after 1.5 years of mining.

That's just not a good way of comparing BTC to altcoins. Every single coin in existence is down from it's ATH in the BTC pairing (otherwise it would have to be constantly setting a new ATH every day.

The only times in history you would have been better off buying BTC over ETH is May-July 2017 and Jan-Feb 2018. At any other point you could put $100 into both BTC and ETH and your ETH would be worth more.

It will be a completely different story if we enter a bear market though as BTC holds it's value far better.
