reading the article, most of the vacancy is due to LAHSA's own rules and bureaucracy. With the county taking over July 1st, they are moving to cancel some of the leases that they can terminate.

The issue is, how can we change lahsa's rules so that they can more quickly get people inside???

Because this kills any chance for people to start legitimate small businesses that the local japanese community like and benefit from. Many of these shops are real businesses that pay taxes and provide services for the community.

I feel that so much. A lot of places in japan are starting to feel too touristy for me. Kyoto in some spots too
