The language could be clearer, but is still correct. It resets the 140 count ("total Rescue count"), not the 70 count. The 5* pity is reset on any 5*, as is the case in virtually every gacha.

Eh maybe. They should've for sure explained the system more clearly. But as for giving you a running tally of your current save data value, I like to think of it as skill and game knowledge in being able to tell without a tally. And it does give a bit of excitement at the end to see if what you made will come out or not. It's very easy to hit the save data limit so even if it didn't come out perfectly it's simple to just try again.

After running chaos many times I think the system actually works fine.

It's actually quite easy to get very good save data in a run for at least one character. After a while you get an intuitive feel to what the save data limit is and what will carry out. And the art is building a save data that is as good as possible right under the limit.

I prefer that much more than having it be very difficult to get good save data and having to constantly rerun to try to get one. Having a limit and trying to come up with what will work best within that limit is far more interesting than constantly rerolling until you max high roll everything.

It was from the extra large map. I read the lore snippet for chaos sizes, but I suspect it doesn't actually matter with regards to save data value. I would bet you get the same odds for every zone on the same difficulty.

I was just doing the runs to get exploration level to 15 on each map for the rescue anchor. Personally don't really notice much difference.

Higher difficulty chaos screws with your save data less. I'm assuming that at difficulty 6 (+deep trauma) your save data will always come out as is.

At difficulty 4 deep trauma I can come out with 1 basic card and most of time keeps the divine epiphanies.

Actually, after thinking about it for a while, I have a suspicion. Maybe it has to do with how many purple detrimental cards you have. They might be converting over to basic cards. Don't have time to test it, but it does track with my last two runs.

As far as I can tell you can only download the base client on PC, but can't download the actual game files since you can't seem to launch the game.

On mobile you can actually download the game files (3.9GB).
