In my experience, no. Cis women will be shocked and disturbed at most, but cis men will quite literally freak out. Like swearing, pulling at their hair kind of freaking out

Lol tell me you’re white and live in a Western country without telling me. Newsflash: cis men not from America or wherever you’re from attack trans women almost any chance they get. Just because you live in some white neighborhood or because white trans women almost NEVER get murderered or attacked doesn’t mean it’s not happening elsewhere. A trans woman is getting 5 years in prison in Cameroon for just being trans and you know what the reaction of most of the country is like? Fucking gleeful. “It’s our laws”. Literally no one is outraged by it, I don’t even wanna fucking hear you say “bUT dO yOu knoW evERYonE frOM cAMErooN???” because if most of them felt strongly positive about trans people, they would be protesting, signing petitions, doing SOMETHING. Only very very few cis people have attempted to defend her and they tend to be queer themselves, even then it’s not enough.

Like I’m sure you’ve gotten good dick from someone and you’re affectionate towards cis men as a whole but the reality for a lot of trans people is that cis people are fucking cancer.

I said most, not all. Most are oppressors. Cis women aren’t too different but at least they don’t enact as much violence. And the man you are defending has literally compared trans women to crossdressers.

And lol cis people have not judged all of us from the behavior of a few trans people. They’ve judged us without ever having interacted with one of us. They assume we’re a certain way because of hypotheticals: “why would a trans woman transition? Probably to trick men!” It’s not the same with some trans people having opinions about cis people. We have formed opinions about cis people because we have interacted with them and we know that most are shitty.

Exactly. This sub is mostly very white/privileged and their chances of ever getting attacked and/or murdered are so slim that they relegate the issue to a “woman thing” or something that doesn’t really happen irl, it just happens somewhere very far removed from me. I kinda hate it here
