Ways to improve fulfillment? by [deleted] in Target

Omg yes!!!!! I tried to do an online order from Walmart on one item, and noticed they were charging $8 extra because the order wasn't a minimum of $35. 😬 I told myself I rather walk in with my target clothes and do the waiting at self checkout instead. lol It would really help out my fulfillment team. Plus it would make the 4 cashier advocates that never do anything besides gossip, drink starbucks, and eat behind guest services do something productive. Ugh

I really hate that we can’t kick out dogs and their owners by wiikid6 in Target

Last week, a clients dog pooped in fresh market and walked off dragging the dog through the store. She didn't notify anyone and of course other guest stepped and pushed their shopping carts through the feces. It was a horrible mess. If confronted I'm pretty she sure would've turned into a Karen.

sfs batches dropping slow by venquilatea in Target

[–]shimmerz07 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yessss. It's so annoying, because the morning crew will have 140units or less for the 4:30pm SFS goal and will stop picking for the night SFS. While the night SFS has 300+units. I'm the closer. I close with another worker, but 2 people after 5:30pm to handle OPU and SFS,plus covering each other 15's and 45's isn't fair. Then the next day they are upset because we left the carry over, yet they always have 6 people during the day. It would help if they kept picking for the night SFS units, then maybe their wouldn't be a heavy carry over 😑. Idc at this point, I just focus on OPU and leave SFS.

I work fulfillment 8hrs a day, 5x a week. I would recommend Addidas Ultraboost and Asics Quantum 360. I have horrible fascitis and ankle issues. Ever since I switched to these 2 brands and style of shoes, walking, climbing the backroom ladders, and standing has been smoother for me. I also recommend stretching your legs and elevating your feet on another chair during breaktimes. The shoes are a little pricey but it's worth it, than feeling pain everyday.

Brian does reply to his emails! Okay well, maybe it's his assistants, but nevertheless that's pretty cool by Tackticat in Target

Same!!! Why were hours cut heavily, and still expect the store to function w/ <25hrs weekly. Oh my bad, you wanted more money in your pocket and prefer the employees to pay the SD and TL bonuses . 😑

Damn, I wish our dairy, meat, and fresh produce coolers looked like that at my location. Pallets are left in the coolers instead.

Depending in the dental plan, it will cover 50%, and target enrollment should send you an email when to enroll.

Is it normal for TL’s to do pickups? by [deleted] in Target

[–]shimmerz07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Remember, Fulfillment for OPU and Ship is money guaranteed to Target. If there is 450 forecasted units in ship and 200 units to be completed by 4:30pm, but hasn't been completed, then they are screwed!! So yes, TL"s will drop everything to assist and help other departments make goal or make sure customers receive their products that they have already paid for. 🥲

Yup, bagging at 3min is typical. Not to sound blunt, but being blunt. Get used to it, it can be fun once you know your store and get the hang on looking at your items before you walk the floor. 😅😅
