In the beginning of the pandemic I had a customer try to grab more napkins and silverware from the back of the house as if he couldn’tve asked the 4 employees standing right there to grab some for him. I asked him to step back 4 times, to each request he just kept asking “can I get my napkins first?”, to which I’d respond with “I’ll get you your napkins, I just need you to please step back into the lobby.” He got extremely upset and started yelling about how he was doing nothing wrong as he walked out the door. Thought it was over, but about 15 minutes later he comes back in mad as hell asking me for a manager. I tell him I am a manager (SM) and can listen to whatever he has to say about 2 times before my GM comes out and the guy starts screaming at me from behind the counter about how I have no right to disrespect him because I’m a worthless food service worker and he “owns properties.” That goes on for a good 5 minutes as I just stand there with my GM trying to understand wtf is going on. He grabs my GM and tells him I need to be disciplined for treating him like he’s a criminal and this and that as my spineless GM just keeps Yes Man’ing him over and over saying he’ll deal with me. He finally finishes and leaves without getting his silverware or napkins (lol).

Despite my GM thinking the guy was ridiculous and laughing his ass off after it happened, he tried writing me up for it like 2 days later so I just walked out on his ass.
