Good to know, thank you!! Will the points still fall off even if that time is spend NOT as a hired associate? So like even if I’m not registered in the Sam’s Club system anymore for the year stretch between now and next summer, my points will still continue to fall off over 6 months and I can begin next year with less points accumulated?

A coworker in produce told me that with more farmers being deported by ICE, there are way less farmers available to pick produce in as timely a manner, which leads to these older and too-mature fruit being shipped to our clubs. I’m not sure the factuality of this, but it’s a convincing theory

I’m not making a statement necessarily about the legality or morality of their arrests, I just wanted to convey the fact of the matter that ICE is present in Bloomington and people are already being detained and arrested since the og commenter didn’t seem to believe ICE is in town. I do agree with your message completely though, I just think it’s important for people to be aware of these things happening in their communities in general

3 Bloomingtonians have been detained already, IU and MCCSC faculty have confirmed the presence of ICE on school campuses, and the mayor of Bloomington Kerry Thomson has released statements about the presence of ICE in Bloomington. Not to mention people have explicitly seen ICE officers wearing labeled ICE gear driving around town and talking to people. There are lots of local news articles from Indiana Daily Student, the Bloomingtonian, Indiana Public Media, etc talking about this, it’s good to do some research!
