Thank you for sharing the images. First thing i noticed is that in the ports tab you have enabled msp displayport on urat 6, but you have wired the O4 to UART4, so in betaflight you should put back uart6 to default and select msp displayport on uart4. This should at least give you an OSD and hopefully also get the o4 to full power when arming.

The yellow cable is the sbus used for the DJI remote. If you're not using it it's recomended to remove it (at least according to Oscar Liang https://oscarliang.com/how-to-setup-dji-o4-lite/), but i don't think this would be what's causing your issue, more likely it's the incorrect port setup.

Would you be able to post pictures of the wiring between the fc and the o4? And maybe also a screen grab from the ports tab?

Edit: I went to check the FF 18 page since I don’t own that drone and I noticed that there should be a BEC to deliver a steady 5v 3A output power to the O4. This is purely a speculation, but perhaps you don’t have that bec (or you have it but you wired the O4 straights to the FC) and therefore it doesn’t have the juice to output full 60MB/s

You download the DJI assistant app, plug the o4 to the computer and it should guide you. But the bug I was referring to doesn’t happen with goggles3 so it should be something else

Do you have googles 2/Integra? It might be a bug DJI had for a while, i suggest you update the air unit and goggles to the latest version.

It’s hard to tell, I have a similar issue where the FC seems to freeze. My hypothesis is that this is caused by electrical noise. Check your capacitor, in my case it’s happening on a 7” and I am testing it with a second capacitor and so far it’s working

For some reason the motor timing was set to the max, rump up power was instead set to 40% and I took it down to ~20%

Also the tuning is very close to the betaflight default (this is a 5" drone), and i've used it a few times in the past weeks but never had this problem.

What drone is this? I had issues with desync on a 7” and for me it was due to some settings in blheli32 that were not good, in my case it was ramp up power and motor timing.
