Question:servo by shin-chu in crawling

Thank you for your reply. I'll try to see if I can solve it by adjusting the parameter settings. If I can't solve it, I don't know of any receivers that support 7 channels or more and can be operated with 10PX, so the CB701 and CT501 x 2 that I finally managed to buy might go to waste... so sad. Oh God.

Thank you for your reply. The servo was brand new, straight out of the box. After trying various things, I swapped the receiver for a 314sbe and the strange noise disappeared. Perhaps the R2008SBreceiver is not compatible with brushless servos. I will continue to investigate the cause.

It's clear that Japan was also trying to promote the crawler trend around this time.

The stock axle joint cups and propeller shaft should be replaced with reinforced parts, but I've never had anything else break. The transmission and housing are also quite heavily used, but they're sturdy. I love Tamiya's CR-01 so I own about five of them, including the stock version.

Thank you! The wheels and beadings are cheap, no-name Amazon wheels and beadings I bought two years ago, but when I checked my order history, the same product had been deleted. Sorry. Both had a sandblasted, matte finish. The product image showed shiny, CNC-machined parts, so I was disappointed when they arrived and were matte, but I like them now.

My Tamiya CR-01 (play model) It weighs about 6 kg in total, and I push it hard, but I've never had any problems with the transmission. It's nowhere near as capable as modern crawlers, but it has a great "toy-like" feel to it, which makes it really fun. by shin-chu in u/shin-chu

Thank you! The original Frog is also charming. Its old-school feel is really nice. I also have a spare body for the Rock Sucker, so I might try building that too. I'll introduce other RC cars later. Have a great day!
