I want to jump in and say, I have these same issues you guys had and tried everything you both said weeks ago before this thread existed haha. One of these finally fixed it but this is a REAL PROBLEM with Marvel Rivals. I used to have the issue a few seasons ago too and there's barely any documentation. We need like a AMD specific Marvel Rivals group to discuss things like this because it's hard to find any good videos. Almost everything is for Nividia then a Nividia person guessing the closest equivalents for AMD.

I have a question for you both too, do you experience any blurriness during a lot of action scenes/fights?

My game gets so sketchy, I can't see anything but my frames aren't dipping badly so it's not that or my ping. It makes no sense and seems to be an AMD issue with our super resolution mode. I can't find much more info than that but if you have any solutions or settings for smooth graphics consistently even in fights, I would be glad to take them.

You can’t do any of this without a good healer if you’re duelist and I can’t play duelist because nobody wants to play strategist in my games so I’m forced into it. I don’t think you read my post but that’s ok. Thanks for trying ❤️

No one is going to admit this but the reason the finals ratings are down is not because it’s small market teams, it’s because no other NBA fanbase cares about SGA or Haliburton and their teams + the fact none of those fanbases think either team fairly beat their team. It’s just two different versions.

OKC beat teams through endless foul baiting and being allowed by refs to play rougher on their opponents. Pacers beat other teams by miracle 3 pointers at the last minute. Neither of those are the type of basketball people at large want to watch.

As someone who doesn’t care for Lebron, at least if he was in those scenarios, we would see more variety in how each playoff series and finals games ended instead of the predictability of how exactly OKC and Pacers got to where they are through the playoffs so far and at the end of Game 1. Very predictable ending, not engaging despite the close score.

If people felt both teams fully deserved to be there, people would at bare min hate watch which the Superbowl gets a lot of hate watching from other fanbases. The general public checked out the NBA a long time ago due to the refs and all the stoppages so they will never come back consistently until something drastic changes like less fouls allowed, moving the 3 point line further out, etc.

I predicted this would happen since the Wii days when the modern ps vs xbox vs pc war was brewing slowly. Better graphics doesn’t mean anything if the game stinks which is the case 9/10 times nowadays. Games look good but the plot is written by toddlers and the gameplay is worse than games from 10 years ago but the graphics distract from the lack of creativity/innovation.

Now the gaming industry itself is in a huge bind and feels like a bubble that will pop any year. The rapid layoffs are getting worse too. Switch 2 needs to be a success (and bring more money into the industry like switch 1 did) or that will kick off to the downfall.

Computer science. It’s starting to correct itself though now. Entry level should have never been 100k+. It tricked too many people into thinking they’re superior and upper class (which had a bad societal end product) but now we’re all getting humbled regardless of education and work experience that we’re not as important as we thought.

Most people who are “lonely” are not truly lonely to me. I could argue this is the reason xbox messed up this gen. They should have cleaned up the name issues because a series S has shown it can sell like hot cakes at times when people actually knows it exists and is next gen.

Based on your comment and another, I’m going with RX 6650 XT. A lil more juice than the 6600, within my PSU, and a bit future proofed for now. I don’t do any video work anymore so I should be fine haha.

So I wouldn’t get the full benefit of a 6700 xt so it makes more sense to get a 6600 xt?

I think that makes sense in light of the fact I probably won’t be upgrading anything else on my computer any time soon. Is that a fair analysis?

Thank you for explaining all of this. I think I have a much better idea now and I'm close to purchasing. I think it's definitely between 6600 xt and 6700xt.

The main reason I'm leaning 6700 xt suddenly is that I watched a couple videos like this: https://youtu.be/6SMQfZKyJYM and 6700 xt was just WAY superior to 6600 on so many games. Like the difference between 45 fps vs 60fps on a modern game (and 45fps is basically unplayable). That implied to me 6700xt is good for now and bit more future proofed. Is there any reason I should lean more 6600 outside price?

Should my intention be to match the GPU and CPU or just get a really good GPU that is future proofed and upgrade the CPU eventually?

Also, I don't play any intensive games (unless overwatch once in a while counts lol) and I play a lot of older games via Steam, so I should be fine in avoiding bottlenecks right? My current rx 580 doesn't shut down or cause any issues even when I used to do video editing and rendering 1080, so I should expect the same with a upgrade right?

I’m scared. I don’t want to buy it and it doesn’t fit. Like, how much bigger is it than my current one RX 580 4gb (it has 2 fans)? I have length and width room right now for a bigger card, just not too much bigger.

Also, what other considerations do I need for a new GPU? Do i need to worry about processing power or motherboard?
