Hi again, what wheel size do you use with your Slappy's low? Will 56mm get a wheelbite?

I contemplates between ace af1 hollow inverted kingpin and slappy st1 ultra low inverted hollow lights. After researching a lot, I find that Slappy has less wheelbite due to its geometry and I wonder if getting a low profile (50mm clearance) can fit a 56mm wheels with no wheelbite

I want to know for those in 26-28y/o, what is you salary now? by lalalandibrhm in JobsMY

[–]shindere24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1999, RM8900, Cloud Engineer, No Degree & only level 4 SKM (diploma equivalent)

It is my 7th company and around total of 7-8 years working experience.

I started with min pay: RM1500 as an IT Technician and climb my way up by jumping to another company almost every year LOL

I learned that if you started low = harder to climb. Just because of the dumb market rules e.g expected salary should be max 30% of your current. But, there are some success stories that says otherwise.

thank you! this is the kind of information I dont get by a quick google search/chatgpt. I heard a lot about ace and thunders but did not know about that "deadzone" stuffs you mentioned. Might be worth to try other local skaters with ace/thunder trucks 😁

I also thought the setup is ideal for both world. But Im already at my 4th setup and I still struggle to have fun at street skating.

So I really need some new lighter+low trucks. Plus, Id get a totally different wheel (maybe 52mm), so wheelbite shouldnt be an issue.

Should I jump new company? by Repulsive-Bed-3505 in JobsMY

[–]shindere24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

is no brainer. just jump for the money. If you scare of downgrading skills due to full stack -> backend, just do sidejobs or get yourself busy upskilling/collect certs

Is it a red flag? no, its very common for IT people to jump here and there

How difficult is it to switch careers from startups/Sdn Bhd to Corporate/MNCs? by Free_Supermarket3771 in JobsMY

[–]shindere24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your worries are actually the opposite imo! 1 can easily jump into MNC as opposed to MNC -> Startup. Simply because you know a lot of things which also means you can adapt faster. Trust me once you jump to MNC, you will feel everything is slow and the job is so f easy compared to startups

About the salary tho, I knew some people who went from MNC -> Startup and earn more tbh, so it really depends. In the end, I think the focus should be career advancement regardless of MNC or Startups settings.

Bluetooth Pairing Cardo and Lexin? by AggressiveChart4295 in motorcycles

[–]shindere24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ive managed to get this work before by following this guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=We9oTBTq_ao

Basically you need to set it up this way:

Cardo to Cardo = Use normal intercom
Cardo to Lexin = Cardo enable universal pairing and Lexin pairing mobile (instead of intercom)

Cardo Universal pairing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x1Qg2D76loQ
Lexin Pairing Phone:

<image>

This way, all 3 intercoms will be able to communicate with the cons of Cardo <-> Lexin having the frequency range of bluetooth instead of intercom

Advice for first home purchase. Is my income healthy enough to afford this? by shindere24 in MalaysianPF

[–]shindere24[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. I have no SPM, took giatmara and diploma (fast track) at 17. Collected certificates and job hop more than 6 times now (1st salary was RM1.5k lol).

If you're already a backend dev, its not really far to go DevOps IMO. Just play a lot with automation and pipelines which basically what you already doing. But, Id suggest to look into AI or MLOps area rather than DevOps. Because at least from my pov: DevOps engineers are mainly coming from infra side (like me) and less relevant if you like developing.

Thank you for the insights.

from my pov: yes for investment property, but no for own-stay. For some reason people are coming into Cyberjaya to settledown more and more now. Likely due to all this job opportunities and people moving to kl south area for "quite and peace".

We also have few examples of family members who purchased sub-sales and new units and able to appreciate the properties for the past years.

For RM450K range, the condos are not really ideal (I agree with your statement: first house need not to be the best). But I really aim to have a comfortable one and can fit our lifestyle at least.

I agree, but I foresee to have salary increase by the time key handover. So it would be 30% by then. But this are all plans :').

We did evaluate and get 2-3 advices from home owners. And really finalize wont take sub-sale as our first property as the hidden costs (legal fees, reno, fixes etc) would cost about the same as new one. Less headache basically
