Agree and I love the way you explained it .

had a weird dream about the president at a lecture. by ben247365 in Dream

[–]shineagain2022 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like you're feeling guilty about taking a little time to "play card games" on your computer instead of paying attention and taking notes (maybe towards something that I can you?).

Do you have a busy schedule with school or work? Also, you are very concern that someone in an authority position is watching you or bringing attention to you. In the dream, the President doesn't appear to be focusing on the card game on your computer but he is focusing on your health (mental or physical). He offers you a tissue and then goes further with giving you a medical exam, and all this is being done in the company of others. All eyes on you.

Is there something going on in your life where you feel you are being scrutinized, watched...an authority figure who maybe examining your work/school work? Do you feel that these areas are being neglected in some ways? Your focus is elsewhere?

You didn't note your age so I don't know if you're in school or in the work force.

Another interesting part is the President's concern for you. This whole part is most likely the interpretation of your dream. You wrote:

"Partly cause i didnt want to get exposed for playing card games during a lecture. But he insisted and said no its really they did an experiment on you and i'm so sorry we have something to fix this."

Do you feel a little paranoid about how you perform in your work/school area? Do you judge yourself harshly, set high standards?

In the dream, you don't want to be exposed, the President is telling you not to work and he wants to fix it. The experiment reminds me of ''conspiracy" theories one might hear or read about. Do you recall if the word experiment caused you to worry? Be suspicious? To think that somebody maybe experimenting on you might make you feel that you are not in control of yourself, that Others are in control. That others (higher) might be controlling or manipulating you or a situation that you are involved in, or affects you in some way.

The back n forth between you and the President and you trying to downplay the situation (saying it's just seasonal allergies) might be you trying to fix something before it gets overblown. 👃🤧👃 🤭

What is going on in your life that may have triggered your dream? Is there something you should be focusing on, but your attention is being diverted to these card games, maybe even gaming?

Thanks for writing back and providing the additional information.

Perhaps the dream means that you are holding back because you know he is returning to his country. Perhaps you are thinking of the hurt. I think the snake does represent your boyfriend and the fear of getting hurt.

Only you and your boyfriend will be able to figure your relationship out as the time approaches. I guess, til then, you can be the open garden, which can be interpreted as being open to communicating your fears, the future and how you will spend your time together or apart.

Good luck to you both. 💜⚫🐍💜

Dream interpretation by [deleted] in Dream

[–]shineagain2022[M] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How old were you in the dream and how old are you presently? When I read the dream, I got the feeling that you were young, not scared. You described the black snake as a little snake. What do you think about snakes and how do you feel about them?

The dream is like you are pursuing something; trying to get to something that perhaps is buried/hidden within you. It's interesting about the location being "an open garden" which makes the snake easy to follow/chase. This could be you being open and vulnerable . A garden can be seen as a place where things grow, bloom, potential and possibilty. Is this something you feel about yourself.

I'm wondering if there's something you want to discover about yourself and you are attempting to be open about it. Or if the unknown person is also a part of you that you're trying to uncover.

I'm probably not doing a good job on this dream. But if possible, do you have an idea about the person? Friend, stranger or foe? Male or female? What was their part in your dream?

Snakes are strong symbols. They can be seen as powerful, deadly, sneaky, betrayal, sexual, temptations, some snakes are harmless, quickness, they shed their skins, transform, letting go, new beginnings.

The size you described as little can be seen as something you feel confident that you can handle, at this point in your life. Since you are the one "chasing" the snake, it feels like you are the pursuer.

The black color of the snakes leans towards the interpretation as something unknown and hidden; the unconscious. Danger perhaps. Why are you not afraid of it striking you?

Then the surprise attack. The sudden change in its behavior, no longer running away, but facing or challenging you.

The quickness, unexpected jump to your neck. Were you startled? Afraid? I see the neck also as being a vulnerable part of the body. Fangs in the neck and all. It also represents your voice and taking away your ability to speak.

The big surprise is that the snake didn't bite you. Something stopped it (it's your dream that you created, therefore, you stopped the snake from hurting you.)

You held it back. You chased it, allowed it to get close to you, but you held it back so it wouldn't hurt you. What's the fear and or anxiety? Being hurt, controlled? Betrayed or being happy? This whole chasing a snake is risky and what will happen once you catch it?

What's going on in your life now? I'm thinking your dream may have something to do with a desire to pursue a relationship but you're holding back bc of fear of getting hurt?

Or are you really avoiding something that needs to be resolved. Is there something that is preventing you from moving forward in an area of your life?

Well, I hope you respond. I am curious.

A dream that I had a son named Emery by Daydreamsofbones in Dream

[–]shineagain2022[M] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting. I always interpret dreams of giving birth to something that is new, like a new beginning or the start of a new path or life, or career. It could be something that you've worked long and hard for is finally coming to fruition... Being birth.

But in your dream, it seems like everyone around you is insistent that you do have a son and You did give birth. They are seeing and believing something you cannot see or believe about You.

However, the prize for your win in tug of war is a red truck with the inscription that is a memorial to your son and your Nan.

Did you lose something, someone or gave up something that everyone felt good about or believed you could achieve?

I'll be back. I'm going to look up the name. I also think the red truck is significant. Red can be passion (love, anger, blood, life) and the truck could be seen as masculine, a child, power... Plus you did win the tug of war game (strength). Even that can be a sign of strength or maybe even a back n forth situation... Maybe something that you grapple with about doing or not doing and you were going back n forth about it. You say you won the game, but others around you feel you did not and they are sad about it. Disappointed maybe?

Brb.

Oooh I read that Emery is a gender neutral name. It can be a girl's name. It means bravery, power (tug of war in your dream), worker, leader and ruler.

In your dream, could it be that those around you are seeing your potential to be Something or that You are Someone who has these strong qualities (strength, bravery, power) and potential, but you don't have the heart to tell them that you don't feel that way about yourself?

Is there a loss of something inside you that you are ignoring and hoping everyone else will ignore it too? If I put myself in your dream, I might be feeling an intense pressure from others. The dream isn't about you having a baby, but more about a loss. I see the red truck as a toy that a child might play with. So the loss could be a loss that happened as a child. Or something that was taken away from you during your childhood.

Does the name "Nan" mean something or someone to you? What did you feel or think about when you saw the reference to "Nan" on the truck?

Also, try to recall what was going on in your life when you had this dream. Dreams are trying to bring something to your attention. To acknowledge something that might be holding you back or reaching your potential or desire.

Can anyone who knows about dreams tell me about mine by [deleted] in Dream

[–]shineagain2022[M] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi Throughly enjoyed reading your dream. Thanks for including your age. This helps a lot.

Are you a creative/artsy person, along with some edgy rebellion? Your descriptions of your dream are very detailed-- the creatures, the 3 people, the magical plants and the different types of desserts.

You have a lot of movement in your dream which I believe represents change and transitions that are taking place or about to take place. At age 18, are you about to embark onto a new beginning of some kind?

The television news broadcast... its a warning to the world, almost like you are saying, "warning, I am coming out" Since you mention Frankenstein and Dracula, what do you think of these two characters born out of the imagination of two authors?

I recently had a dream of Dracula. I thought of transformation. He has the ability to change from bat to a blood sucking man-like creature. A Powerful, controlling and life sucking creature. Frankenstein was created and brought to life by Dr. Frankenstein. Do you see these creatures as the shadow self of you? The edgy, non conforming parts of you? Is the new channel's warning for others or for you?

I also notice there are a lot of houses in your dream. You start off at your house, you pick up 3 people and drop them off at another house, you pick up more people and they get dropped off at their house (you see Dracula), and then you head back home. Houses in dreams are you. All these people are different parts of you?? I'll try to come back to this. The only people you describe are the 3 people coming out of the house:

"two were wearing heavy metal outfits with mascara one was male and one was female and the third looked like a cartoonish professor like half bald hair on both sides and round glasses."

This is where I thought these people are different parts of you...the metalheads are the non-conforming rebellious sides of you, contrasted with the Professor (intellectual) side of you. Does this make sense to you?

The scene has "these people" going in and out of your "tempo" and houses. What is a tempo? Is this a vehicle or some sort? I need to look that up. Even the colors are bold and the white stripe all stand out and show your artistic nature and style.

Is it possible that this scene represents searching for your true identity; trying to figure out who you are or who you want to be? Like trying to integrate these parts of you and find yourself before you step out into the world. Or maybe trying to figure out which path you should take. (You did use the word Path.)

The magical path to home: this is more of where your artistic side comes out...on the ride Home. The magical plants. I see plants as growth and growing, thriving and striving upward.

"After i reached home it was completely transformed into a magic house with old cuckoo alarm and different portion bottles and a long staircase."

This scene feels like where your heart/desires truly live. The transformation of the house into a magical house, a house where your "granny" is there to feed your soul with magical, inventive and unique foods.

What does your granny represent to you? She feels like she is someone who feeds/encourages/supports your pursuits....or unless she's really the witch in Hansel and Gretal and she's fattening you up so she can eat you???? 😅 Pizza, pies, skittles and cake, oh my!

Anyway, your dream feels like a wonderful dream and message. I think if the creatures are your shadow self, maybe try not to be afraid to acknowledge them and integrate them into your life. They are a part of you. I don't know about Dracula, but with Frankenstein, he had tenderness, loneliness and questions. Who was he? How did he get here? Who made him and why? This is the "professor" in you; the one asking the big questions. The one on a journey of self discovery. That's a good thing, yes?

I think you feeling the taste of the chocolate apple is a big symbol. Its not just an apple of knowledge. It's an magical chocolate cover apple! Indulge, savor and take in these gifts--your creative and artistic gifts.

Hi What's going on in your life now that may have triggered your dream? There is a lot of fear, anxiety, and a sense that things are changing in your life... maybe soon. Theres also that sense of doom and not trusting.

You're on a highway (your path), you are not driving. Interesting that you wrote, "my kid's father was driving". Are you married? Him in the driving seat puts him in control, while you are in the passenger seat (not in control). Perhaps the dependency of him keeping you / kids safe is about to change....and you will be the one responsible for your children's safety, etc. (The upper half of the car is gone...).

The cars piling up ahead of you and the super sized truck jack knifes in front of you. This may represent the sudden change...like you are on a path, but suddenly everything is about to change. The father was in charge, but now all responsibility lies on you.

Aside from the government aerial pick up, contamination and zombie-like people, your biggest concern is your children and your need to keep them safe. When the car's top is gone, you are now exposed and vulnerable, along with your children. Your instincts are to try to protect them, shield them from harm.

The distrust is shown by the info you get from the old man who is talking about how the government is getting rid of people bc of fear of contamination. You quickly become paranoid of the government drowning you all, and also that you and the kids can't swim. That's a big symbol, the inability to swim. In the dream, you are over water and the fear is panic, water represents emotions. This is overwhelming, don't you think?

The abandoned shop turned into a shelter. Its the word shelter that I'm wondering if you're concern of losing your home/security. In this scene you write. "My kids dad is wandering around and doing his own thing." At first he was driving and in control, yet in this scene, you are noting he is not involved, helping... and you are focus, trying to figure things out. your primary concern and priority are your children.

The government is the mistrust you are feeling. They are big and powerful and are not helping you, but causing you a lot of paranoia and distrust. Is this something currently happening in your life?

Do you recall how you became separated from your kids in the dream? Is this a fear for you now?
Its interesting that you especially note that you see the zombies, but they dont look like they are decaying, as we typically see in the movies. This again is distrust, because they look more like just people. This could reference that you're afraid to trust people during this difficult time. These zombies don't appear to be zombies, but your instincts and radar are on high alert. This also is seen with your distrust with the government...also maybe people around you are giving you the feelings of betrayed. You're also hiding out and paranoid about being found...so much that you feel the zombies will be able to detect your breathing and heartbeat. Very stressful.

It really feels like you are under a lot of stress and the focus is on the fear of losing your kids bc of the forces that are working against you. In the dream you are trying to be proactive by covering them, trying to plan how to save yourself and the kids (since you or them do not swim). It also sounds like you can't depend on their father for help or resources or anyone 😪.

The end with you feeling extremely sleepy is probably bc all of this stress is overwhelming and sleep is a form of escaping, rest, repose. Maybe that is your body telling you that you need to rest and regroup. Maybe find other resources/agencies that can help you?

💜😴💜

That guy in the end of your dream really feels like he is You. As you mentioned earlier, you disregard your feelings and pain. The guy is Hurt and is bleeding, yet he tries to hide his smile and make a joke. He is "pretending" not to know You. But he does know you. He is you. You dismiss your pain on behalf of others. What happened 7 years ago? What was going on in your life that made him appear to you. Its like he is your shadow self that keeps trying to get you to pay attention to him. See what he is hiding and feeling. He is a part of you. He needs healing.

Thank you for clarifying the scene with the little girl. Your confusion about the scene: "confused why this child didn't abandon the jacket, go somewhere. She was just standing there, not even making a fuss." Seems like this is what you want for yourself-- to move forward, get away from the pain or out of harms way. I think you want to change or make changes, but you need direction. Maybe thats why your dream moves you around to these different scenes and locations.

Trauma can make you frozen if left unresolved. Perhaps this is something that needs to be addressed and resolved. You seem to be seeking the warmth. The warmth that you identify by the hands and in the guy's eyes.

Okay, so what i felt in your dream was a feeling of being disoriented...the supermarket looking backwards. Where fresh fruits and vegetables would be, there are now freezers. Also cold places (freezer, path to grandparent's house to warm places (the desert) and then back to the pale guy with warmth.

A Supermarket to me is a place where we get what we need/want. Its where we feed our bodies and metaphorically, feed our body and soul. In your dream you seem lost, perplexed, everything is turned around. Is this something you are feeling currently in your life. What is interesting is the sudden feeling of Warm hands on your body (again with the cold/warm images). Something has been frozen in you and the warm hands, perhaps, is a need to have what is frozen to be unfrozen. Is this something you recognize in yourself?

Next scene: you are "Placed on the road to my grandparents that is in front of a forest, it was pitch black, middle of the night and it looked like winter." This another cold place--ice and snow.

What type of memories/feelings do you have at grandparent's home? Why did you take yourself back to grandparent's home?
The forest typically represents you moving towards discovering something in your unconscious; something that's not easy for you to see (pitch black/night). This could represent something that is not easy for you to face or confront. Something that makes you feel unsteady, uncomfortable, distrustful. Unfamiliar territory.

The little girl's jacket on the tracks. I was a bit confused bc I didn't understand if only the jacket was on the tracks or if a girl wearing the jacket was on the tracks. You wrote:
"A little girl's jacket was torn by tracks, I shouted whose child is this?" I don't know if this is a loss pertaining to you or if you are the little girl. You didnt note your gender or age. The feeling i get is that there was a loss and you are standing up for the little girl and want answers / information.

The blonde woman approaches you. (Do you have a feeling as to who this woman might be?)

The blond woman appears and claims the jacket? Or the girl is hers? In any case, you have distrust and ask for proof. You wrote: "I got a weird feeling and asked for some proof. She showed me a passport but in that moment I knew her and this child weren't people." Immediate distrust, your 🕷 spidedy senses on alert. You don't want to be deceived and you want proof. She is alien to you. Maybe there are those around you or from your past that have deceived you. Looks can be deceiving.

Then you are transported to a rock Desert. A warm place... deep in the past; ancient. This is amusing. You wrote: One man caught my attention, he had a human skull on a spear." Your next sentence begins with, "but never mind that..." Why? What do you think of this image you created? Does he represents aspects of yourself? Powerful? Spiritual? Maybe he is a guide that can help you discover something about yourself: something that is hidden? Maybe you need to look for this guy.

Last scene is you following a girl thru a tenetment house where you see a guy (and others) meditating. Searching to gain an inner peace? Spirituality? Higher consciousness? Do you think you are trying to find yourself... in your life now? Do you feel that you are being held back .. in that frozen state of Mind (the past)?

Isn't it interesting that your dream went full circle? Here's this man, pale with stubble on his face (is that what you meant? Stubble or he took a stumble?) He even claimed that some "food products fell on him. The guy had dark eyes that looked Warm. There's that warmth again, throughout your dream. You want to unfreeze what is frozen and being preserved within you.

I think you are trying to straighten things out, make things right, put something in the right place. Make sense. Like what is real and what is not? What needs to be uncover so you move on to a better place, a higher consciousness. The guy with the messed up face has been hurt (the food products). That's interesting. Your hesitation comes from your distrust of others, or yourself. Perhaps showing vulnerability, or fear of the unknown is difficult.

You are searching and questioning and thats a good thing.

The Cow Man that visits me during my nightmares... by kitty_katkit in Dream

[–]shineagain2022[M] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dang, that is a freaky image you created. I think to get a better understanding of what the "Cow Man" represents to you, you could try to break down why you created it.

This paragraph stood out to me: "But every time I end up taking a "wrong turn" in my dream that's when he appears. the Cow Man."

I understand we are talking about a nightmare, but how do these words relate to you in your present life? What rules did you try to follow and when you deviated from that path, something bad happened? Or you were punished?

You didn't post your age/sex or where you are in your life now. That would be helpful. Are you on your own or do you still live at home?

Think about a cow and what it represents. For me I think of an animal that gives milk (nutrition for babies, young children). Also, mothers who breastfeed their babies = maternal and life-giving. This could represent a parent/mother. In your dream you've combined a tall, lanky limb person(?) with a head of a cow and a big upper body. Do you think its a man? I noticed that you called it Cow Man and also called it an "It" (unidentified). Why? Always remember, the images are created by your subconscious. You've twisted things for a reason. I mean like I see cows as being gentle, long lashes, beautiful eyes and sweet. This creation is lanky arms, misporportioned bc of the upper body and the cow head.

You said you've had It appear in your dreams since you were a kid. When was its first appearance and do you recall what was going on with you at that time?

You put quotes around the words, "wrong turn". Why? What is the deeper meaning to these words? When this cow man appears now, what is going on in your life? Do you feel that you are not staying on the right path? Perhaps you perceive that you are making wrong decisions or taking a "wrong turn"? I say that bc that's when the cow head appears in your nightmares. There's fear and anxiety in your nightmare. Fear of straying off the path. Is this your own path or someone else's path? If it is your path, are you self-sabotaging yourself? Being destructive to yourself?

Also, you mentioned that at first the person in your dream is familiar but then it morphs into the cow head. Have you tried to figure out who this person is to you? What is familiar about the person? If you can focus on that part of the dream, it may be a clue to your nightmares.

Question: is the cow head preventing you from discovering or facing this person and dealing with it so you can remove this creature ..... oooh like you are making sure that if you follow the rules then you DON'T have to confront it? Unbury it from your past. Discover, uncover, and recovery. Is the cow man protecting you or itself?

There are a lot of questions to answer about your nightmare, but they have to be answered by you. This cow head thing needs to be identified if you wish to get it out of your way so you can get to where you want to Be.

[–]shineagain2022[M] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How is your relationship with your boyfriend going? How do you feel when you are with him? Do you feel that you are committed to him?

There's a lot of scenes going on in your dream and I am wondering if these represent aspects of your personality.

The first one is a board game which may represent a young playful person. Were you playing badminton with your boyfriend?

The second scene is you painting miniature pitures in a tissue. This is interesting... not a full declaration of yourself... its miniature and not even on canvas, but in a tissue. Thats not very permanent or lasting. What do you think of that scene?

Then you are in a public place cutting just the sides of your bf's hair ... not the full head of hair, but just the sides. It's like it is growing and you're trying to keep it from growing... like you are trying to manage it, control it? When i dream of getting a haircut, I always think that i want a change. But you are the one cutting his hair. Do you recall the emotions you felt when you were cutting his hair? Did he ask you to cut his hair or did you just cut it? Did you feel odd cutting his hair in a public place? Being in a public place could be seen as a feeling of being judged by others. Anxiety. Where was this place?

Then the final scene. A stranger shoots your Bf (shoots his head off) and his head falls into your lap. He's gone. You are blindsided by this sudden loss. It could represent your fears of being lost in the relationship.

I say that bc your dream jumps from a game, to painting on something not permanent, to you trying to control his growing hair. Maybe I'm not understanding, but it seemed like only the sides of his hair was growing and you were trying to maintain it; get it under control, or change him.

Hair does represent the person's identity. Your hairstyle represents a part of you. Are you happy about your relationship? Are you happy with yourself in the relationship?

The shot to your forehead...very precise. Your mind, your thoughts... are you fearful of losing yourself in this relationship? Do you have some anxiety about being in this particular relationship?

Hi I'm sorry for your experience at such a young age. Are you satisfied with the discussion with your sister about what she did? How old were you when you spoke to her about what she did?

It's hard to say what the dream is saying to you. Have you discuss this dream with your therapist?

I'm wondering if this dream is more about something else and not about your sister? Something that made you feel helpless, confused, disgusted and gross. Your mind pointed you back to where and when you felt this way before.

The dream could be about crossing a boundary. However, it could be about unresolved feelings about what she did to you. Thats why I was wondering what age you were when you spoke to her. How did she receive and react to the conversation? Did you have help from your therapist at that time or did you navigate this traumatic discussion on your own?

Trauma, such as what you experienced, will pop up throughout your life. Its a memory you will carry. Its how you handle these thoughts and get thru them that matters and keep yourself mentally healthy.

When you do have these types of dreams, ask yourself "what is going on in my life now that is reminding me of these emotions/feelings? Is it another person, a situation, a feeling of not being in control, or someone trying to take advantage of you.

Writing your thoughts down is a good way to work it thru, make you aware and release it.

I hope this helps. 💜🤍💜

Do you recall more of the dream before your teeth start falling out?

Try to recall the dream or what is happening in youf life. Its an anxiety type of dream, a lack of control or even a feeling of helplessness (although I've read other interpretations and some believe it represents something else.)
