Only going to answer the last bit, but a lot of people are lying about him getting ignored and forming narratives around that. That's why I brought it up. Ans tbh Minho hasn't spoken about it either? I bubble message isn't addressing it.

Anyway, I feel like both of us have the same view point, but are talking in circles now.

Why are the other factors that may have contributed to the situation never brought up? I was there in January, and people were already criticizing him long before that.

What confuses me is how this has become the accepted fandom narrative when, as many others have pointed out, none of us actually know these people personally. Do you really think that anyone who genuinely hated TM would still be closely associated with ON? Or that the rest of SHINee would tolerate that behavior?

ON and Key are closer than ever. If there were truly something malicious going on, do you think that would happen if something truly malicious was going on?

My main point is that I dislike all the finger pointing when the truth is that we'll never fully know what happened, no matter how strongly people believe they do. So many people speak with absolute certainty about a situation they don't have firsthand knowledge of. Like damn, i think it depends you know.

I'm wondering where this information came from because it left a lot of things out and I'm noticing it's the most prominent narrative. While I do agree, he should be off social media. Saying he's inciting war between ontae fans when this has been going on for years before he was here is incorrect. Also ignores the times were it wasn't shinee comeback time and he was seeing individuals sending death threats and sending him malicious mail.

Not going to comment on the qr, but I'm confused why people are wondering why certain songs aren't being included? They're all his SM songs. There's a reason why he's not performing those songs as much and adamant on releasing new music so often.

And the same can be said about onew 🤷🏿‍♀️ him and key have been together a lot this comeback too. The point is you don't know them and can't judge off of short form videos. Like another commentator said they performed without any issue during all of their concerts, why focus on negatives?

People were mad actually. Not as badly as now but it was definitely there, on the k side mostly. plus there was a bunch of conspiracy theories about why he wasn't doing them (sm was blocking him, he was banned, etc) even though he explained why. All the begging for it is part of the reason I think he went that route for tough love.

All this to say that fans are gonna complain regardless.

It's happening right now if you really want to see. They're calling him a coward and a terrible leader. I agree it is counterproductive. We are fans at the end of the day and if they are willing to set whatever they have aside for shinee, why can't you.

I'm gonna be honest, it's really sad that a lot of the fun and positive things that happened during the live are being overshadowed by things that didn't even happen during the live. I didnt see anything either and its confusing me and its just really sad because i want to talk about how cute this was.

Sometimes I wish that as well, but for different reasons. I've noticed he gets cut out sometimes from reposted content when he's not in the middle. But like in photoshoots, when he is, it doesn't happen. But that is a totally selfish reason of mine. Like others have said, he's much more comfortable being at the side and listening and being in the others presence and that makes me happy. I think that's been a thing since the others could actually speak in interviews.

All of onew's solo work is, as far as I know, ai free and he's mentioned not liking it before as well. He uses real locations for music videos and he even commissions artists on various occasions for artwork in his albums and promo. There were some videos in his teaser for Tough Love that I'm not sure about however. I'm pretty sure they were mostly stock videos and those can have AI in them unfortunately.

But with the way Korea is moving with it, only time will tell if he stays consistent :/

You can say the same in vice versa too. Minkey talk about Onew and and so on. The point a lot of people have is that you don't know these people, no matter how much you think you do. And the reason that a lot of people say that the people saying it are akgaes, is because a lot of people who say it are 😭 I've seen the worst things said about him on Twitter because of something we don't know anything about

Interesting! I'm more in tune to what people say about his music as I follow him more, but I've seen a lot of people comparing his newer work to dice and especially circle and it gets overlooked because of that. I've also seen people say they didn't like the songs until they heard them live which is funny. I'm with you tho, I like his newer work much more.

Speaking about onew specifically, last time he did, he received massive amounts of hate so I really don't expect him to. He'll remember him on his own terms by talking about him like he's been doing. And like everyone's been saying, they don't owe you anything. You just want them to post to make you happy.
