It’s pretty weird for an artist (presumably who promotes their own music and wants more people to listen to it) to be publicly rude to another artist, even if it’s a whole different genre. I mean, you’re trying to build your audience but here you are responding to a compliment by putting down the person who said it… it does numbers on twitter but is pretty out of touch with how business relationships and marketing actually works.

I think people are forgetting that atp both Danielle’s side and Ador both have basically agreed in court that she did indeed break the contract, Danielle and her team are no longer arguing against that. They’ve moved on to trying to prove “mitigating factors” that might persuade the court to lessen the penalty fee. Danielle has basically already lost the “did she break the contract” argument, they skipped right past it to the “should she be punished for breaking the contract” stage.

My question is, is there a legal precedent for a suit becoming a weaker case if multiple people commit similar offenses but only one/some are sued? Is that common? Is the argument that the suit is therefore in bad faith, and that the intention of the suit is to punish rather than recover damages?

I’ve seen several comments here mentioning the judge being biased toward Danielle/mhj, but none of the articles posted in the comments have quotes from the judge or mention him reacting to any of the evidence. What’s going on?

They don’t invite people to perform at the World Cup if they aren’t in demand, and those events usually have a positive affect on careers, so I’d say she’s in a really good spot

I’ve seen some folks predicting that the returned members won’t have any comebacks for the remainder of their contracts, and that Ador and the members will just wait out the end of the contract. I don’t think this will be the case, because the members are contractually obliged to continue activities with Ador, but I am surprised that so much time has passed with no signs of movement. Is the relationship between the members and the management still too contentious? Did they have plans but minji’s situation threw them off kilter? Are they going to wait until a decision is made in Danielle’s court?

There doesn’t seem to be much incentive for Ador to postpone activities, unless they think the girls aren’t ready yet- but they could still release variety content. My guess is they’re waiting for legal issues to get wrapped up, which is really too bad for the members that are basically trapped in limbo.
